Follow up on two previous commissions.

Ah... finally the big fat bandage has been taken off. As you can see there was a pin in there, long pin... But the painful part wasn’t removing it, it was cutting off the stitches. I don’t know exactly why, but even though I was under local anesthesia, it hurt a lot. Doctor said it was because I was scared (which is pretty much my natural state anyway). Meanwhile all I felt was the tug when he removed the pin. 

I still have to keep my finger in a brace for the next two weeks but I finally get to exercise it a little. It’s really stiff and weak and covered in dead skin which I’m slowly getting rid off. I still cant put it under direct water until the hole at the tip is fully healed. I don’t really care though, i’m just glad the thing is off!

I’m opening commission slots for a limited amount of spots. There are 3 sketches spot available, 2 portrait/bust, 1 simple character and 1 full illustration.

So I busted my finger a couple of weeks ago and wishfully thought that it was just a sprain and that I didn’t need to get it checked. Well turns out it was broken, that a chip of the bone got dislodged nearly tearing the tendon off and that I needed surgery.

The procedure was done with a local anesthesia so no sleeping it through. I was really scared so they gave me some really powerful sedative. Like, there were dancing ants on the ceiling kind of powerful. I asked them what it was but the only answer that I got was ‘black and orange’... so either they wouldn’t tell me what it’s called or I was way too high to really understand.

Anyway, now i have a metal pin in there for the next three weeks so things will be slower because of this. Luckily its my left hand so I can still draw... just kinda gimped.
