Oh, this is exciting! The star-studded Rhythm Heaven fanzine curated by John-Charles Holmes is up for preorder! $20 gets you “98 pages of art, short stories, and comics from artists and writers such as Ashley Davis, KC Green, Mychal Amann, Colette Bennett, James Montagna, Jaime Cortes, even more!”

It ships next month, and seems like a nice way to bide some time before the inevitable (right??) localization of Rhythm Heaven The Best+. 

Love this Monster Hunter Diary commercial ⊟ 

While it makes sense that Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Airou Village DX’s ad features cats – the Japanese 3DS game is a spin-off (and port) based on the series’ Felyne characters – I wish almost all game commercials featured cats. I probably wouldn’t tune them out like I do with most commercials for games! Sure, it would be difficult to distinguish between all the cat commercials, but that’s already the case with the TV spots for most AAA games.

Plus, cats have a broader appeal than whatever Game of War is going for.
