Pokemon Soul Silver paints done over the past few months I replayed Soul Silver for the first time since it came out (2010? Goodness) and got hit with intense feelings, I love this game so much. I had always enjoyed the dynamic between Lyra and Silver, and wanted to imagine how they'd look in a timeskip ( ⸝⸝´ ᵕ `⸝⸝)

Loving embrace Referenced this pose I found on Pinterest as practice, but I got very into it and wanted to turn it into Zelink + color Zelda's dress isn't accurate at all, but I approached this with relaxation, and not stress over details :)

Took inspiration from JC Leyendecker’s painting style

My biggest takeaway was finally learning how to paint characters on a single layer rather than separate each color into its own layer. As well as merging the lineart into that layer. It has felt very liberating, and I can see a change in the style compared to last year :>

Also be sure to look up any Procreate user interface guides on YouTube, bc it has a lot of hidden gems in the UI that make it much easier to use!
