What is it gonna be used for exactly?

I am still trying to get used to this app so its gonna become a... MARCHING BAND AU ROLEPLAY ACCOUNT!! (So far I have yet to make a name for said marching band, you can make recommendations until I make one!!)

(sadly I cannot find a software to create drumline or drill that is free, and I do not own any type of PC. So, gotta work what I have currently 😎)

Well, it most likely started with some groups already. BUT, in my area it starts in June!! That's amazing news right?? Sadly though, I still have a knee issue and I might not be able to join. If I do however, I could possibly be let off for injury purposes. HOPEFULLY I will be able to see a doctor soon before any of that happens.

You know what else that means?? The Marching Band AU is back!! I will continue to work on it if I have free time!

Indoor Percussion - As it is said in its name, it's based on percussion and is indoor, it can be seen in gymnasiums!! Indoor Percussion has 3 types of ensembles.

1.) Front ensemble - They are the people you see up front, which is why 'Front' is in the name. They do not march, but they can still do visuals! You may see them pulse from time to time to keep tempo.

2.) Battery / Drumline - They are the people with the drums on them, they do infact march!! The snares in drumline help the front ensemble keep in time. They also do visuals!!

3.) Visual - They are people with flags, sabers, or any item in general [usually themed after the show]. They are the people that do the most visuals that you can visualize in indoor percussion.

well this is literally just gonna be about backwards Marching.

First we will learn about the INCORRECT ways that could possibly harm you.

Marching with your toes (which is correct) BUT you go fully down with your heel, which at high tempos can cause you to trip and if you are rehearsing on asphalt, can definitely HURT!

Marching with HEELS, I have no clue if you CAN actually do this, but either way it would hurt you and would be incorrect.

Marching with your toes, BUT you don't keep your upper core steady, how to fix this exactly? You try to tighten up your core, which warm up exercising before rehearsal will definitely help!! If you do have warm-ups during rehearsal though, make sure to do them!

Now, onto the CORRECT ways to march backwards.

Marching with your toes, making sure that your core is tight, so that your upper half is NOT bouncing or moving at all.
