My sketchblog has been pretty quiet but I’ve been posting to instagram for the past 120 days. I started off doing the “100 days of making comics challenge,” where you do a minimum of 30 minutes a day on a personal project. I completed the 100 day challenge and decided to keep the momentum going for 365 days! Here’s a peak at “Cotton,” a new comic I’ve been working on. I’m currently doing the “100 days of making comics,” where you spend a minimum of 30 minutes a day on your own personal project. To follow my progress and hear me speak awkwardly follow me over at @mrbevill100days I completed the first chapter before I started but you can see the sausage get made on the next few over the course of the challenge. —- Cotton is a small town, Sci-Fi-Comedy. Think Dexter's lab meets Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde (with a dash of twin peaks. It follows Cotton and his friend Genevieve as they enter the last year of High School. Problems occur when Cotton partners with a mysterious new classmate for an assignment and accidentally drinks a strange serum. Soon after, he begins having vivid nightmares that make him question reality and the motives of everyone around him. There's humor, action, and honestly, lots of weird shit. There's a fitness cult leader, a cat robot, a kung fu hobo that quotes greek poetry, gangs that fight over ice cream.
