Urchins doing urchin things
A few inked pages from a creator owned project I was able to finally find the time to get moving. It´s a fantasy genre story with mechas, magic and lots of action. Think of it as Lord of the Rings meets Game of Thrones on a Studio Ghibli fantastic world...with giant robots. Stay tuned for more
I’m always on the lookout for ways to speed up production of a comic page. I started my morning warmup with this in mind, and the fact that water is something I haven’t had a lot of occasion to paint (maybe I subconsciously avoided it!). Anyway, about an hour in clip studio, using the fill lasso and three different brushes. Ideally, I’d like to find a happy medium between painting in bits of background freehand and colored, inked elements that still looks “right” to me.
