The DOC

Without getting too into it, I view affirmations as declaring something into your life through thoughts or words as if it is already true. So easy examples are:

I am light

I am love

I am abundant

I am protected by a divine light

I have control over my emotions

I enjoy...

I love...

ect...

The key to affirmations is that you speak them in the present tense, even if you are trying to affirm something for the future. If you need $100 you say “I have $100”. If you want a new job you say “I work as a partner at....”
