Damien didnât like this one bit. He ALWAYS made the plans for him and Huxley. Huxley coming and telling him he had a surprise for him and to get dressed caught him so off guard, he almost set the couch on fire.
It started with a simple hike down the path that Damien began to know all too well, it was the one from his first date with Hux. âSo what exactly are we doing here?â he raised a brow suspiciously.
âI just thought iâd plan something for a change, youâd finally get to relax.â Huxleyâs smile shined brighter than the sun. Damien just smiled back calmly and tried to act like he wasnât so nervous.
The date went on, a cute little picnic in the spot that they first kissed, with gentle music playing. Damien would be lying if he said he wasnât a little impressed that Hux planned something so romantic.
âDamien..â Huxleyâs voice starts and trails off and it snaps Damienâs out of his prior thoughts and he meets Huxleyâs eyes.
Huxley who is now on one knee. âHoly shit.â Damien mumbled softly.
âWhen I asked my moms years ago how to know when someone was the one, they just gave me a plain answer of âyouâll know.â I always thought that was kinda.. not helpful.â Hux chuckles softly and gently wipes the tears starting in his own eyes. âI never thought theyâd be right, but Dames, I do know. Itâs always been you. I-iâm not the best and saying these little speeches but.. I know youâre the one i want for the rest of my life. Will you marry me?â
Damienâs never smiled so big that when Huxley told the group about it, they almost didnât believe him. âYes, a thousand times yes!â He practically tackled Huxley and kissed him deeply.
âIâd love to marry you.â
Maybe Damien didnât mind not planning all the dates anymore.
