I did one of each and just dipped bc I hated how robotic my writing felt to read back. Feeling nerfed by every english teacher I’ve ever had, spent my life writing useless essays and articles with blue pens on loose leaf. It all looks like ass trying to write about men, doing (freaky) things with their gender neutral partner, with no fucking name. Such short pieces too, I didn’t do them justice at all.

One of these days I’ll actually finish n upload shit…. one of these days… right……. yeah..

Ive been looking at some of the asmr channels that I once listened to and wanted to do a rewatch renaissance. For enjoyment and to see how my feelings and taste changed. As looking up channels, redacted came to mind. To keep it short I ponder why I strayed away from the channel to begin with. Despite (seemingly), there’s better quality then before 2022-2024.

My conclusion is that I missed the darker storylines that balanced the channel evenly. Vega and darlin/Quinn storylines were my favorite. Vegas doing a complete 180 story wise, Quinn story being wrapped up quicker than a last minute Christmas gift (which I’m still in denial is over), and inversion not making an appearance are things I would’ve never expected

Oddly put, I fear the channel is too much sunshine and rainbows now. The grit and tensity that was explored through partnerships aren’t present. And no, while I don’t expect their to be permanent (development is important) I would like for some of the darker plot lines to still be present on the channel.

With that said, if there’s any ongoing series that does describe what I’m looking for, Please let me know so I can listen to them!

Like maybe with PM James where he’s far away from his partner to work or like literally anyone else I don’t care just someone please make it please please please please please please please please please

I also feel like tumblr is the most active platform for this fanbase and within the last couple months it feels like all of the good blogs are just whittling away and being replaced by David stans who are clearly 11. Once again this isn’t me trying to hate on David, it’s just weird that people don’t interact with other parts of Redacted.

Overall I just kinda want some reassurance that there are still active people in this fanbase who enjoy all of Redacted and aren’t leaving any time soon. I don’t wanna be one of the last fans left, I love Redacted too much :,)

Or at the very least, make more bonus audios set in the past for characters we haven’t seen for YEARS. *Cough Cough* Anton *Cough Cough*

Elliott is barely a character, he’s more of a plot device than anything. I can’t name a single trait he has other than “nice.” He’s always the least interesting person in the room. Why does this fandom go to bat for him so much? I think they like the idea of him more than him as he is. What do you uniquely get from him that you can’t get from Ollie, Geordi, Guy, etc? Nothing. It’s his storyline that’s interesting, not him.

And then people act like Blake had Sunshine in a medieval torture chamber. Yeah kidnapping them and invading their mind was obviously bad, but he was actually way nicer to them than he had to be. He let Elliott go, he did NOT have to do that and it was a huge liability to do so. Not saying he was good, but you people make it seem WAY worse. Sunshine was even willing to try and talk to Blake and learn about him, they were not THAT scared of him. You guys really cannot read between the lines.

And it really annoys me that with Blake’s new audio coming out, specific people are posting about Elliott and Sunshine instead. It’s so rude to Blake’s character and Erik’s writing. Who gives a fuck about them right now, it is NOT their moment. They have nothing to do with what’s going on in the story right now. Shut up about them and get over it, they’re exceedingly bland. Erik is serving us well seasoned food with Blake audios and you people just want to keep eating white, unsalted, boiled chicken. It’s beyond confusing and aggravating.

i miss what DAMN was before lasko had a listener and damien and hux were dating. i miss when hush was first introduced. I MISS CAELUM. i miss the old vega cuz thats my man <3. i miss a lot of the old deleted audios. i miss waiting for the aftershock audios to drop. I MISS CAELUM SO MUCH. i miss when there werent SO many characters- i tried to see if my brain will let me get back into RA but i cant get back into everything with how much things have changed. i miss when david and asher and their listeners weren't married. i miss listening to audios and playing google snake while not doing homework. dear lord i miss project meridian. I FUCKING MISS CAELUM CAN U TELL?
