A bit off topic for this blog but i genuinely cannot stand adults who hate children, massive red flag imo, i understand being overstimulated or overwhelmed but that doesn't mean dehumanizing and saying how much you hate them is like an okay thing to do, people do not treat children as if they're humans. It especially ticks me off because its especially worse for marginalized children, namely children of color, who are usually already subjected to adultification, assigned malicious intent, racist bullying, etc.

Also just a handy, DIY air filter in general, if a bit bulky. For a less bulky and cheaper (but also less effective) solution, you can simply tape one filter to the fan, cut a shroud if you'd like.

just FYI, this is quite literally what the climate scientists at my work who specialized in wildfire smoke impacts recommend. it works great, it's cheap to make, and it will make a noticeable impact on your air quality.
