I want a life that I don’t have to escape from. I want to wake up and not feel like I have to run away. I want to know what it’s is like to not just count down the hours until I can crawl back into bed. I want to not have the threshold for pain that I do. I want someone to really hear me when I speak. I want to know what it is like to ask for help and actually receive it. I want to know what it means to be loved and not just love. I want to have the emotional experiences instead of just imagining them. I want to learn how to take, to disappoint, to be angry, to fuck up, and know someone will still be there.
