ngl the most important thing i was taught growing up was that its not enough to just be anti racist but to also be pro black
hating racists is good ! but if youre only hating the oppressor and not uplifting the oppressed all you are doing is using a performative method to direct your anger at. being angry is good, but its not enough. you have to love too. uplift the ones that should be uplifted. celebrate black art and culture and people. celebrate blackness for the beauty it is
Never cheering for white boy norway again

#Make Racists Scared Again 2026
Share if you want people to know they should be scared to be racist around you 👊🏾
"making them afraid will make them more racist" that's wild to me, because we live in a whole culture of social consequences for antiracism anyway. It is literally safer to be a racist than it is to speak up against it, socially.
Idk about you, but "I'm afraid no one will want to be my friend if I'm a white supremacist" seems like a pretty logical thought process to have, and I wish THAT were the normal and not "I'm afraid my friends will hate me if I tell them they made racist jokes".
Wait I thought when ppl said "racist phase" they meant "time when I hadn't deconstructed racist societal beliefs" phase what do you mean these people were ACTUALLY going out there and being racist like on purpose 😭
Baby I’m so sorry but a LOT of white people had periods of time as kids or even early adults where they regularly regurgitated slurs and direct racism and performed cruelty on racialized people. It can legitimately anywhere from “saying slurs on COD at 12” to “putting various unsanitary and hard to remove things into Black classmates hair” to “excluded racialized kids around them because they were yucky/etc.” to “assaulting racialized people around them” to “spent time on /b/ and gained standard 4chan racism brainworms”
You also straight-up can’t guess what it’ll be until they mention it or it jumps out. As an example, back in montana there was a white woman in my local kink community who was generally SO fucking sweet, kind, and caring to everyone around her, including me. One day she posted this on Facebook out of literal nowhere:
And doubled down after I called her on it.
Please understand that “hasn’t deconstructed racist social beliefs” means “can and will use racism when useful or they think they’re safe to, or will engage in white solidarity”
If they haven’t actually put in the work to destroy the white supremacy they’ve been internalizing from society their whole life, this can be basically any white person, at any time, no matter how they’ve behaved previously and how much you think they’d never do something like that.
The racist phases are real, and often haven’t had the work done to truly end either.
Being fully honest, over the past few years I’ve met multiple white queers who were literally born and raised in full-on white supremacist cults and only escaped as adults, and every single one of them was leagues more tolerable than the average white queer because they KNEW their shit was fucked to hell and they were quick to self-question, address, and apologize when something they didn’t know was false/racist/supremacist came up and they actively wanted to do/be better.
Meanwhile average white queers just don’t want to be cancelled and often don’t actually give a fuck whether they’re harming racialized people around them or whether they’re doing the work of picking the white supremacy brainworms out. Getting an apology, reparation, or basic fixes is like pulling fucking teeth with them.
It’s legitimately fascinating to look at the difference in approach between the two.
hi happy 4th of pride 🥺🥳🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🌈 i’m a Black nonbinary Haitian-Senegalese lesbian artist from Brooklyn in recovery for some p severe trauma <3 pls can i get some help with soup so i can take my meds 🫶🏽💔 c4$h4pp v3nm0 p4yp4l k0fi

i don't wanna be a cry baby but like, going outside and socializing and healing and reconnecting with people and the world has done wonders but-
I realized I've *ALWAYS* was a dark skinned black person, it's just that going outside less and less from depression and crippling social anxiety and fear from many factors caused me to stay inside and overtime lighten up/dull out.
recently I went outside for a week and realized I am dark skinned/got my proper skin tone back and I want to cry because this is what my body was meant to look like and that complexion is really pretty.
i was darker in my old school pics but I got lighter cuz of not going outside from living in a abusive situation but moving out and enjoying life caused me to fucking get my melanin back 😭
this is awesome
I HOPE I CAN MAINTAIN MY DARK SKIN YAY I LOVE HAVING DARK SKIN
like I'm trying to not cry because this is just what I always looked like and depression and assimilation during highschool stripped that away, but adulthood is making me realize I am a pretty black boy :>

Ryan reynolds pisses me off so bad
He's like a car commercial that turned into a real guy
“What, to the American slave, is your 4th of July? I answer; one day that reveals to him, more than all other days in the year, the gross injustice and cruelty to which he is the constant victim. To him, your celebration is a sham; your boasted liberty, an unholy license; your national greatness, swelling vanity; your sound of rejoicing are empty and heartless; your denunciation of tyrants brass fronted impudence; your shout of liberty and equality, hallow mockery; your prayers and hyms [sic], your sermons and thanks-givings, with all your religious parade and solemnity, are to him, mere bombast, fraud, deception, impiety, and hypocrisy – a thin veil to cover up crimes which would disgrace a nation of savages. There is not a nation on the earth guilty of practices more shocking and bloody than are the people of the United States, at this very hour.”
— Frederick Douglass (1818-1895), from a speech given at Rochester, New York, July 5, 1852.
