Since I noticed many fandom spaces cannot tell the difference between fiction and reality… as well as having shitty media literacy.

Yes, I do write about dark topics with my art and stories. I do apply real world issues to my writing as a social commentary.

And do have villain OCs that do questionable and horrible things to other humans.

I do tackle themes like Fascism, sex trafficking, bigotry, Patrichial systems, the Manosphere, racism, ect (it’s just not gona be super dead side heavy, just minor implications )

I’m a Mexican who’s bisexual and a Demigirl who’s also a CSA survivor. I do often tackle themes like this as a way for me to cope work the awful shit happening right now in the world

Some villains I make (depending on which fandom) do awful things like this. This does NOT mean I have such messed up beliefs.

I think people should have the right to make villains that do awful shit as long as they don’t redeem or justify their actions. I sure as hell don’t and usually I mock them in my art and have my other OCs bully them.

Since I’ve been called out just for having OCs that do questionable things…. I thought I make this PSA.

I’ll do my best to add trigger warnings and disclaimers. But I also may not post my most dark content due to this account being SFW. (I’m not gonna go heavy with that taboo )

I do NOT want to apologize for exploring such taboo topics. And I hate when people go on how talking about this shit isn’t normal to discuss… I’m sorry, but nerds and weebs who refuse to discuss political social commentary of their favorite games and shows are the most boring mother fuckers ever. Now, I get the exhaustion from the real world, but majority of media is political.

I am also a goth and a witch, this shit is a very common thing our communities discuss due to how much it affects all of us.

Art is political whether you like it or not. Almost everything we consume is influenced by politics. Yes, not all my artworks are political BUT it’s also reminder this is our reality. If I see horrid shit going on in the world, I will make social commentaries on it and express it through my characters.

I hate this modern fandom censorship and how media illiterate people are now. And if you guys cannot handle me exploring dark stuff, the backspace button is right there.

Again, I’ll do my best to add disclaimers and trigger warnings. But please do NOT assume the worst of someone over such art. It won’t be dead dove heavy, but I’ll leave implications as it is.

I know these are super late but let’s say my mental health wasn’t all the way there when I drew these at time.

Originally I wanted to doodle something with Beebs and Leela but I cancelled it.

I was very nervous to share these… bad enough I still can’t figure out my issue with CSP so I used a very basic drawing app on an Android tablet.

Since I think I feel comfortable posting against, felt like sharing my other OC Vortex.

Like Gem, he was also a woy fankid but I also aged him up to make monkey wrench his secondary fandom.

And he’s her older brother, he’s actually the second oldest of the siblings. (They have 4 sisters while one is more half )

He’s more of a trouble maker, a prankster, and someone who’s a lazy laidback who loves to smoke weed. His passions revolve around hovering boarding, gaming, and doing merc stuff to earn pixels.

He’s actually the leader of his and Gem’s merc team Aka the Treasure Raiders. They do quests for LAW of science to search for hidden artifacts to place them do museums.

Gem usually does the heavy lifting since her big brother is kind of an airhead.

And yes, he’s no Osteon either since they’re part of another skeletal race. (He’s just more full skeleton like their dad. The fiery features came from their Veltanian mother )

Slight vent art of my mood the past 4 days…. (Not just with fandom anxiety but with work too)

I felt like doodling Gem having a moment, she always the hyper sensative out of her siblings. She also struggles with social cues, where people may take what she says the wrong way. Even when she tries to confront to apologize and explain, she gets shunned.

Sometimes she feels like if she’s worth anyone’s time… Almost everyone treats her and infantilizes her at home… Being new to a different galaxy, she tries very hard to blend in and hardly stuff works out. Her brother Vortex doesn’t give a shit, but she wishes he had his confidence to not give a damn what others think of her.

Sometimes she thinks it’s best she stays her in ow bubble than interact with strangers. The more she isolates herself and shuts in, the less she hurts others or herself. But all this does is worsen her anxiety and depression.

Social anxiety and masking was difficult for her. She always masked as a teenager when she had a normie phase, and all the did is repress her emotions.

This will be my last fandom related drawing until Easter. I think I’ll be fine, I’m gonna use this time to focus more on my original project since my passion drive is right there. I’m not okay, but shadow work and healing is what I’ll need. I really love how this art piece came out and I just want to at least share it.

Please do not harass me or bother me about why I’m feeling horrible social anxiety. I rather not get into it. What doesn’t help this is the same time when my grandpa fell very ill until his dying breath in spring…. I’m also grieving over that with these mixture of things.

Social anxiety, work stress, and grieving over a loved one’s passing.

Not just because of Lent, but let’s say a wonderful fandom had to be soooo fucking Two faced to me in a sever and talked shit behind my back.

Im very scared… I feel Like my art is horrible and shitty, everything I do is cringe… I really need this time to self reflect….

Don’t ask what fandom or what sever this is…. In am crying and processing and trying to use this time in lent to help me to shadow work….

I just feel like my art isn’t worth it, I’m not worth it…. I want to get this intrusive thoughts.

Finally feel confident to share third main girl for Monkey Wrench, but this time she’s a LAW officer and a former partner to Shrike.

Meet Heidi, though her real name is actually Ember. But due to her escaping her how planet lead by an evil galactic overlord…. She had to legally change her name for hiding away.

Long story short…She’s a princess from another planet and a daughter of a space tyrant. I got inspiration from the Horde from She-Ra, whee she grew up in an environment taking hostages and invading places. At first she thought it was a normal thing to do, until she realized how cruel her father’s reign was to people in their planet. Heidi evacuated prisoners she released from the cells and found an escape pod… leading her to flee away.

She eventually came across Tezzoree, who is very aware of the space tyrant and what they’re capable of. While she’s aware of Heidi’s background and history, she decided to aid her in under their care correction. Considering she saw how much this girl risked her life to protect innocent people despite the life she grew up in, she knew she means no harm. After months of being around LAW, Heidi decided she wanted to work under their justice system.

Wanting to protect others from harm and serve their galaxy. Although she’s a bit naive about the justice system, she wanted to use her powers to protect. Tezzoree was very impressed with her combat skills, abilities, self discipline, and dedication to serve under LAW.

And yeah, she sort of has a cat/mouse dynamic with Scratch. My friends thought it be funny if he had a massive crush on her. I know Scratch doesn’t like the reds… but something about Heidi makes him have an exception. Think of it like a sly cooper and Carmelita Fox dynamic. She gets so fed up with Scratch for tampering with shit he’s not suppose to get into.

I do have more ideas with her and I plan to draw her past with Shrike as they used to he crime partners.

Sadly I’m sick in bed with Covid, but I do wanna share this doodle I’ve done of Leela with Beebs.

Yeah, I ship them together XD their dynamic is most likely them being rivals or at least enemies to lovers.

My idea is the Monkey Wrench met Leela a while back and she joined them for a short time… mainly so she can help them get sources she needs… Only for her to backstab, betray them, and off with their shit.

And what makes it tragic, she and Beebs sort of formed a bond with an other before realizing she was a smuggler that was using them. Of course, tragic turns but sometimes they still come across her with her new traveling buddy. (Who my friend needs to design) Leela still loves acting cute and playful to Beebs whenever she sees him, but he’s always never abused.

Because if her betrayal from a while back, he doesn’t expect much from her. And still has a hard time trusting her given she’s a smuggler.

Kind of wanted to ship my femme fatale baddy with a soft humble guy like Beebs since im a sucker for those dynamics. Knuckles and Rouge from Sonic inspired me so much as well as Levy and Brock from Black Lagoon.
