…is seemingly incapable of dressing appropriately for the weather.

i think this is carrol hes pretty much always wearing just a sweater. doesnt really dress lighter for warm weather, doesnt tend to add another layer when it gets colder

…has something oddly specific they make a habit of photographing, like telephone poles or anthills.

perhaps i will give this trait to mel🤔 she does a lot of traveling as a musician & i think she likes to take pictures of the ground at places she visits. hotel carpet, sidewalk outside the venue, parking lot pavement, etc. she'll find an interesting spot to get a close up & she keeps an album of them as a sort of avant-garde memory book

…saves garbage to use for their art.

this is sooo scritch he makes puppets & weird art pieces out of whatever the fuck. also keonda she likes using unconventional materials including interesting garbage as long as its clean (scritch is not always as discerning)

…digs the remnants out of their used-up lip balms rather than just replacing them when they get down to the plastic.

i think this could be dan, partially bc she doesnt wanna waste any, partially bc she keeps forgetting to get a new lip balm out, partially bc if its a scent she really likes shes gonna get the most out of it

…is frequently nervous to the point of feeling physically ill.

Finally feel confident to share third main girl for Monkey Wrench, but this time she’s a LAW officer and a former partner to Shrike.

Meet Heidi, though her real name is actually Ember. But due to her escaping her how planet lead by an evil galactic overlord…. She had to legally change her name for hiding away.

Long story short…She’s a princess from another planet and a daughter of a space tyrant. I got inspiration from the Horde from She-Ra, whee she grew up in an environment taking hostages and invading places. At first she thought it was a normal thing to do, until she realized how cruel her father’s reign was to people in their planet. Heidi evacuated prisoners she released from the cells and found an escape pod… leading her to flee away.

She eventually came across Tezzoree, who is very aware of the space tyrant and what they’re capable of. While she’s aware of Heidi’s background and history, she decided to aid her in under their care correction. Considering she saw how much this girl risked her life to protect innocent people despite the life she grew up in, she knew she means no harm. After months of being around LAW, Heidi decided she wanted to work under their justice system.

Wanting to protect others from harm and serve their galaxy. Although she’s a bit naive about the justice system, she wanted to use her powers to protect. Tezzoree was very impressed with her combat skills, abilities, self discipline, and dedication to serve under LAW.

And yeah, she sort of has a cat/mouse dynamic with Scratch. My friends thought it be funny if he had a massive crush on her. I know Scratch doesn’t like the reds… but something about Heidi makes him have an exception. Think of it like a sly cooper and Carmelita Fox dynamic. She gets so fed up with Scratch for tampering with shit he’s not suppose to get into.

I do have more ideas with her and I plan to draw her past with Shrike as they used to he crime partners.
