Originally, I went in worried the opposite would happen. Growing up, I've been taught that Nigeria, the country, is homophobic. (I was born in America.) But over time, I learned that there's tons of other queer Nigerians; some are out, and some are in the closet 😭.

I'm also not used to this much attention, lol

I have nothing more to say...

We are suffering from a severe shortage of food and medicine; we are suffering from acute malnutrition.

My wife is four months pregnant. Due to lack of food and medicine, she has completely lost consciousness. Her life and the baby's are in danger, and I am helpless to do anything for her.

I feel like I am going to die. We are living in hell because of the war. I don't want to lose my wife. My wife needs treatment as soon as possible to save her life and the life of her unborn child. Please help me, don't leave me alone in this cruel world.

I ask for your help with a heart filled with sorrow, loss, and pain. I lost my mother and older brother in this war.

Therefore, I am asking for your help and compassion to save my wife's life. Is there anyone who can save my wife? We urgently need a course of treatment costing 450 euros to improve her condition.

Hello everyone! @kyra45 made me aware that the official ko-fi team has posted on their Discord that they are aware of the ko-fi scam messages going around, and that users can disable messages from people who are not logged in.

Their statement:

Hi Ko-fi Bean! The team is aware of a scam circulating on Ko-fi and is already working on a fix. If you receive a comment or commission request DM from a user claiming to be from the Support or Trust and Safety team, please do not click any links and report their ko-fi page. Please know that official communications from these teams will always come via email, never via ko-fi DM's. Note: Official ko-fi emails will end in @ko-fi.com To prevent DMs coming through via the commission messaging function, you can temporarily disable the ability to receive messages here.
