Like, yes. I understand that you want to spread awareness and talk about urgent and/or important topics, but this is NOT the way to go about it. You cannot call someone a horrible person or say that they should go to jail or die if they scroll. In fact, saying that will probably make them want to scroll even more; at least, that's how I feel. Guilt-tripping or shaming the audience will not make them as invested in the topic as they would be if you started the video with something less insulting.

You do NOT have the right to say someone is a bad person for scrolling. You do NOT have the right to say someone should go to jail or die for scrolling. And you VERY MUCH DO NOT have the right to say that someone deserves to get raped if they scroll, because yes I've actually seen that more than once. If you say things like that, you are actively becoming a new problem yourself.

except I'll be scrolling tiktok and I see an oc that's shipped with chuuya and I'm like "OH FUCK ANOTHER BSD OC HOLY SHIT YAYAYAYAY" and then "OH THEY'RE ALSO SHIPPED WITH CHUUYA THAT'S SO COOL I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUR OC AND THE SHIP DYNAMIC"

and then three seconds later I see that they're nonsharing so I highkey just wilt and wither away

and then I feel like a raccoon with its paw stuck in a hole clutching on to a shiny interesting new trinket except it NEEDS to get that paw out of the hole but it must release the shiny in order to do so but
