Félix kept his mouth shut as the interrogation came to a close. He almost couldn’t believe that the woman was letting him go. Unharmed too. He didn’t know whether she believed his innocence but he wasn’t about to take it for granted. Even as she walked away, Félix didn’t stand up. The boy didn’t even breathe until he was sure that the woman was gone. And Félix. He turned his head when she called his name.
