Gideon Prewettâ:
Gideon was glad the kids had something specifically for them. While the Quidditch cup had been family friendly, there hadnât been any kid-specific activities. Even if the parents werenât far behind, Gideon still couldnât help but feel on edge. They all did these days, but especially with what happened to Cedric at the last event, Gideon couldnât help but glancing over at Cedric and Amos so often, just to be sure.
âFelix!â Gideon greeted with a smile. âNot yet,â he said, his eyes flicking back to the crowd of kids. âYou know, Iâm not sure how thatâs going to work. How are you going to get kids to participate in an auction? Iâm pretty sure Ron can barely get a full word out.â
.
Even if it did betray his confusion and amusement, FĂ©lixâs smile was a genuine one. âDidnât you just say that this was your favorite part?â Unless, of course, Gidâs favorite part was simply seeing all the kids get together without a care in the world. Without prejudices that divide the wizarding world today too.
âI assumed that the parents are gonna be the ones to do the actual bidding. The kids just get to see whatâs up for auction first, right?â Or maybe FĂ©lix was completely wrong with his assumptions. Looking at the crowd of kids, the collection that basically all looked alike was hard to miss. âIs Molly and Arthur around or are you the one whoâs going to do the bidding?â
