okay, but eddie has made some brash decisions this season to save people. he dove off the bridge in 9x01, he volunteered to help de-escalate an active shooter situation in 9x08, and he rushed to save abigail even when athena told him to wait in 9x11. we also saw an eddie who questioned if he could have saved bobby if he was there in 8x17. if buck does need saving and eddie is the one to get him out, i can only imagine how far s9 eddie will go to make sure buck makes it home. he may not have been able to save bobby or shannon, but he cannot lose buck too.
