hello!

This is my borrower costume design for one of my classes! I'm still working on the sets because they're not quite looking the way I want them to, but I'll post them as soon as I'm done!

The biggest one I need is a couch. I was thinking maybe something like a stuffed sock, but I feel like there has to be a cozier option!

I'll post my drawings as soon as I finish them, but I only have sketches right now.🫡

Medieval lesbians!

Today I went on a walk and took pictures of things that I would put in my bedroom if I was a borrower. Then I did a rough sketch of what the room could look like! I'm not kidding when I say that I might actually make this in a real room in my future house. I'm very crafty and I'm studying set design for film, so it's not an impossible thought!

The only thing I couldn't figure out was the ceiling, so please let me know if you guys have any suggestions. A lot of the pictures of borrower houses I looked at had beams on the ceiling that weren't quite to scale for borrowers or humans and I don't know how I could easily translate that to a real room. I could also leave the ceiling blank, but that's not very whimsical.😔 Maybe just regular beams with cute flowers and vines painted on them? But that's not really giving "this room is in the walls of somebody's house." Please help!

These are some other characters that have been living in my head lately!

This is my third character!

She's a size shifter who works as a servant in the palace.

She tries to keep her curse a secret, but her two best friends know. (I'll write how they both find out later don't worry!)

She likes swimming in the lake and picking wildflowers!

I drew my second character!

He likes reading and helping his servant friends while they do their chores so they can chat about all the hot village gossip. (Apparently the turnips that old man Jones sold at the market were actually just long potatoes!) idk what medieval people gossip about 😭 I'm sure it was something like that.

Anyway...

Here's a few doodles of one of my characters! I don't have names for any of them yet, so I thought that I could post a drawing of each character and let people vote on what their name should be because I'm terrible at decision making.

She's a princess and she's very cool btw.

I've finally decided to stop lurking and post my ocs.

I'm still deciding on names for them, but basically it takes place in medieval times and the three of them like to hang out in the woods.

The person on the top left (who will probably be named Mathilde or Matilda) is a princess. Because her older brother is first in line for the throne she gets to spend time hunting and sword fighting like all cool medieval people do.

The person on top right is the apprentice to a scholar who lives in a village near the main city. The other characters keep asking him to do research for them and he hasn't had a day off since he met them.

The character on the bottom was cursed to become a giant. She can shrink down to human size for a few days at a time but it becomes uncomfortable if she's small for too long. When she's human size, she lives in the main city and is either a knight or Mathilda's maidservent (I haven't decided yet). Her biggest fear is accidentally hurting someone, so she tries to keep her distance from her friends when she's in giant form.

The other two characters know her secret and try to cover for her when she accidentally grows in the town square or when she disappears for a few days without warning.

This is just a super rough idea right now so if anyone has any questions or suggestions please lmk. I'm super new to actually posting stuff on here instead of just quietly lurking so anything helps.
