Helloooo I want to talk about Shane getting very sick with the flu and he gets crazy fevers. He is too weak to get himself up to the bathroom, so feverish he goes a bit loopy. It freaks him out Shane hates lack of control (in all contexts but one) and being sick like this usually does a number on him because he’ll refuse him. But now Ilya is there and Shane can’t just suffer through it alone, Ilya won’t let him. Ilya reassuring him, carrying him to the toilet, holding his dick for him to pee, bathing him, changing his clothes and sweat stained sheets as much as he needs to. Keeping a cold cloth on Shane’s head, petting his hair and calming him when his fever make him feel dizzy and scared and disjointed. Making sure he gets in sips of juice and water and soup. Ugh. Shane not being scared because he trusts Ilya to have him- he always does. Sweet feverish Shane dark pink cheeked and shivery while they wait for the meds to kick in and he’s clinging to Ilya mumbling “please don’t go anywhere I’ll be scared” and big fat tears in his brown eyes and that kills Ilya because Shane is rarely that open with his emotions, but the fever is making him seem young and vulnerable. Telling Ilya how much he loves him how scared he is something will happen to him, how much he worries about him silly stuff like how he loves the really springy curl behind Ilya’s left ear. How he misses Ilya even just when he goes for a run. How he thinks of Ilya holding him to help him calm down he feels overwhelmed.
