autoracer says charles has modified the ugly no good software to be up to his liking at last and this unlocked the difference for him
now it allows him to use less percentage of the "battery" for better "rotation" and can even help in race stints with rear deg control. his cornering style would previously simply not work with said shitty software unless he fully adapted hamilton's style and it took him this long to find a compromise yes this means the theory that he had to change brakes for the sake of the software was correct from the get go
they also say charles is still extremely cautious about testing the new modification on a full race stint but it's clear even how little this modification is in the grand scheme of things it has helped him a ton with confidence
