the whole shebang of it all is that bdubs is just a common inspector, sent over to investigate an unusual incident in an abandoned building by his negligent boss ( whoever it is!! ) he then digs a bjt too far into the building, and finds a roaming grian, spreading his weird spores and hyphae around or whatever and rooted to the floor. he is deduced as Probably Really Really Bad by bdubs, and is brought over to the precinct for interrogation !,
