the Nickelodeon show Jack Landry has a fan base for its unique characters and also 3D designs and models of the characters the show is also known for its vibrant colors and also it’s unique visual aesthetic making an appeal to some viewers who watched it during its original run.
Gonna go ahead and say this has nothing to do with anything and that perhaps this is a pretty shit way to draw attention to a show you like. Kinda just comes off as spam. I'm not entirely convinced you aren't a spam bot, actually.

For the Vlad in the Dark Danny timeline in Ultimate Enemy, do you think Vlad already had a Heel Realization about his villainous actions BEFORE Dark Danny was born or did the Heel Realization only happen after he lost his ghost half for ten years? Given Jack and Maddie dying kinda makes his motivations (killing Jack and winning Maddie over) moot, the idea his Heel Realization happened before Dark Danny was born is possible.
I like to think it was a sort of gradual thing. The ten years without ghost powers gave him a long time to reflect on his choices and realize nothing he'd done had been worth it in the end. What he really wanted, a family, was something he could've had at any time if he'd looked elsewhere, but now, he has nothing. However, I wouldn't be surprised if Jack and Maddie dying combined with taking care of a grief-stricken Danny gave him something more to focus on and, at least, helped him consider that maybe his problems aren't the only ones that matter.
Considering Masters of All Time shows Ghost Jack to consider Danny a dumb name and naming his cat Jasmine, this does imply Jack was the one who named Jazz and Maddie named Danny. What name do you think Jack had wanted to give his son and how do you think Maddie convinced him to agree on Danny (technically Daniel but still)?
I'll always believe Jack wanted to name his son Jack Jr. It just seems so like him. I'm guessing Maddie just really liked the name Daniel, and since Jack and Maddie love each other very much, he probably gave in to make her happy. Unless you're a fan of the ftm Danny headcanon, like I am. In which case, Danny picked his own name and Jack had no say in the matter.

Giant Fenton Parents essay post?
I was planning on doing one when I got to Reality Trip, but given the recent debates, it might be worthwhile to do just that. I'm still working on Valerie's posts, but I might just have to take a look at Jack and Maddie and try to defend their parenting as imperfect, but still good.
In terms of that one ask on claiming the Fentons play favorites, I think it might have been because of the one moment in Doctor's Disorders where Jack claims Jazz is his favorite. Though to be fair, she was infected with a sickness at the time and Jack probably only said that in a moment of emotional impulse without thinking the implication through. I'm sure he'd also say Danny was his favorite too if he had been quarantined like Jazz.
That's the only thing I can think of that someone might use to argue that point, but yeah. I agree with you. I don't like the joke because it does give fuel to people who think they're shitty parents, but if I were to give an in-universe explanation, it would be that Jack is an emotional man who says dramatic things like that when he's upset. Anyone who thinks Jack doesn't adore his son isn't paying attention. And besides that, Maddie had nothing to do with that. If anything, she might show a bit of favoritism toward Danny, since he's her baby boy and she dotes on him quite a lot. I don't think either parent has a favorite child, but the point stands.
Fellas, if you think Jack and Maddie are truly bad parents, I'm going to need you to watch some Hey Arnold and Fairly OddParents, then come back and try watching pretty much any episode of DP besides The Fenton Menace. Maybe start with Maternal Instinct, 13, The Million Dollar Ghost, Girl's Night Out, Forever Phantom, and especially Reality Trip. Try taking notes of everything the Fentons actually do as a family. Then get back to me.

The thing is, they are actually good parents. Yeah they’re eccentric and very passionate about their work but they love their kids. There was a whole episode about them finding out Danny was Phantom and they didn’t hate him or anything.
And while I love a good “bad parents Jack and Maddie Fenton” fan fic. I also know that canonically that the exact opposite of who they are. It’s a shame that most times they are the ones who are made out to be the bad guy in fic bc it adds angst and drama.
I just feel like a lot of times people get canon and fandom mixed up a lot regarding their characters.
Thank you. It's good to see some people actually pay attention to the show. They aren't perfect. They make some serious mistakes. They don't always pay attention as much as they should, in particular. But man, as a trans person, I wish I had parents half as accepting and supportive as Jack and Maddie.

And which child is that? Because you could make an argument for one or the other depending on the narrative you want to spin about them. Is it Jazz because she's the honor student and they're protective of her when Johnny's being a creep? Or is it Danny because Jazz is the one they suspect of being a ghost in episode 1 and Danny's the one who gets a bagged lunch brought to him when they're at the school? Is it the one that gets brought on a mother-son getaway and a father-son fishing trip? Is it the one whose ideas Maddie listens to and who Jack made a custom suit?
Huh, when you put it all together, it's almost like Jack and Maddie Fenton are imperfect people who nonetheless try very hard and love both their kids very much, just like normal, non-ghost-hunting parents. Weird.

Also, the Fentons are so quick to change their views the instant they realize their son is part ghost. They love and accept him, and they don't blame him for keeping it a secret from them. They understand how scared he must've been, but promise that nothing will ever keep them from loving him.
Obviously this is exclusive to the graphic novels, but Valerie's reaction was. Not that.
Which isn't to say that I don't love Valerie as a character, but Jack and Maddie aren't bad parents just because of their messed up views on ghosts. Their kids are more important.
Not to mention that the Phandom is filled with dissection fics where the Fentons get to Danny, and while it is true there's a lot of dissection talk in the show and Alt! Maddie was about to do just that to Danny in Masters of All Time, she still freed him the second she realised he was indeed her son from another timeline.
Meanwhile, absolutely no one ever mentions that Valerie was about to do just that to Danny (or at the very least, hurt him) in D-Stabilised, let alone hold it against her.
I swear, the double standards in this fandom are insane.

What do you think would happen if Vlad tried to use Desiree to win over Maddie by simply wishing that Maddie would dump Jack and fall in love with him instead?
I think he could absolutely do that. It would be an interesting premise for an episode. Ofc, Danny would pretty quickly figure out that ghosts were involved since he knows how much his parents love each other, and he's been able to just take the ghosts out of people under Desiree's spells in the past. So that's probably what would happen, and then Maddie would go back to Jack.
As a different anon from the one asking why Vlad never uses his overshadowing powers to get the Packers but being okay doing it to vote his way into being mayor, it could also be due to different requirements.
Being mayor only means Vlad needed a majority vote to win, so if someone didn't want to vote for him and didn't remember doing so, at least there's that plausible idea that the person who didn't want to vote for him could just assume they're in the minority.
Buying the Green Bay Packers likely means Vlad would need a unanimous vote from the entire city of Green Bay. The Packers thing might be more noticeable. I mean I’m not sure it’d be a vote so much as “every citizen at once decides to revoke their ownership” which would be suspicious. Even if it was a vote though, in a mayoral election, Vlad just has to win majority. In this hypothetical Packers Ownership vote, Vlad would have to win unanimously. And everyone who didn’t want to give up their share would go “hey wait a minute!!” And accuse him of somehow rigging the vote
I have absolutely no idea how this sort of thing works, so hey. Maybe that's it. Though I don't know if it's true that the entire city of Green Bay collectively owns the Packers. That doesn't seem right based on my research, but I don't know all the details.

Any reason why you think Star still hung out with Valerie even after she lost her money? And do you think the other A-listers like Dash, Paulina, and Kwan ever give Star a hard time for still associating with the unpopular Valerie?
I've talked about this before, but my headcanon is that Star just doesn't give as much of a fuck as the other A-Listers. She likes who she likes, and she won't be told what to do. I think the real reason is that the writers wanted to give Val a friend to talk to, but I like the headcanon that Star just genuinely liked her and didn't care that she was technically "unpopular."
As for why no one gave her a hard time, I like to think Star is one of the only people Paulina genuinely likes, and when Paulina likes someone, that seems to cancel out any other opinions. Danny got instant popularity when it seemed like Paulina liked him, and even Dash couldn't argue. I like any headcanon that gives the A-Listers more depth, so Star and Paulina having a genuine friendship works well for me.
I guess the only issue with the beauty pagent being mandatory in Beauty Marked for all women in the school would be having the big "why isn't Valerie here?" question, considering how she pretty much doesn't show up when an episode doesn't focus on her (Public Enemies being another notable case where there's ghosts in school but no Valerie).
I'll always stand by this. Valerie should've been in more episodes and it was lazy to not include her if the didn't have a specific plan for her.
