god. you people don't appreciate how hard it is to be a supervillain in this day and age. there's a severe deficit in good inclusive terms i can use to refer to my employees/contractors. can't call them "minions" because that conjures the image of those stupid marketable yellow freaks. can't call them "goons" because that apparently warrants a meeting with HR these days. "henchpeople" just doesn't have the same sort of ring to it.
Lackeys? It feels too demeaning somehow. I pay them well, but not well enough to demean them publicly. I hate to say, yes, it is US who were robbed!
