When Noodle was little, she was really stubborn. She never wanted to do what the boys asked her. One time she was being your average whiny 10 year old and was arguing with 2D after he told her she had to go to bed and stop playing video games. Russel got really annoyed hearing this go on and on and he was tired so he yelled at Noodle to finish her game and go to bed. He's a big guy, so him raising his voice scared Noodle. She cried and ran to her room when Russel tried to get close to her to give her a hug. Later that night, Russel went into Noodle's room and apologized, and Noodle ended up falling asleep on Russel's belly while he read her a bedtime story to make her feel better.

Bonus: This exact scenario happened all the time, until Noodle was a teenager. She still loves cuddling with Russ to this day and sometimes she even falls asleep on him.

any interesting headcanons about where 2d would have scars from all the years of abuse (like specific areas where there’s more of them)

I think 2D has scars but they aren’t from the abuse, rather how he coped with it. Obviously, he had his painkillers, but what would he do if he ran out? He cut himself a lot on his thighs because it was easier to keep them hidden in that area. But Murdoc did one time mock 2D for his self harm by slitting 2D’s wrist with a needle. Murdoc regretted it the second he did it because it reminded him of when he used to self harm and felt awful that he was mocking it. He never apologized for it, though. 2D does have a few permanent bruises on his stomach from the times Murdoc’s punched him in the gut, but all his legitimate scars are from himself except for that 1 I mentioned before. They’re all pretty faded, but if you look in the right areas hard enough, you can see them.

Noodle was 10 not 5 lol

she was still little. i base some of these headcanons off my own experiences and the one ur referencing is something similar to my life. i cried when i got yelled at by my father at Noodle's age in that headcanon. i'm 15 and i still cry when i get yelled at. it's just going off of my own experience. plus it's just a headcanon so it's not even real

2D started shaving his armpits in middle school when he noticed all the girls had bald armpits and he wanted to fit in with them, but he also was struggling with his identity so maybe shaving like the other girls would help him figure things out. He's transitioned now, but shaving his armpits has just become a habit for him so he always shaves.

Murdoc uses his bass as a way of stimmjng. He can just sit there for hours and pluck out different tunes and just space out for hours until someone comes to get him

Murdoc finds playing bass very comforting and relaxing. Like a safety blanket. If there's an argument going on that he doesn't want to deal with, he plays his bass. If a lot is happening and he's getting overwhelmed, he plays his bass. He'll hide in his room if he's experiencing sensory overload or just really overwhelmed by anything, plucking the strings gently to make a simple, relaxing riff is what calms him down. When he's just bored or antsy and needs to fidget, he'll play around with his bass like it's the first time he's ever held one. He'll connect with it. It comforts him. Doesn't matter where he is, if he's got his bass, he'll play it to the point where he's playing a beautiful riff just from muscle memory without paying any attention his bass.

Things each member of the band do while absolutely wasted?

Murdoc

He's an alcoholic so it usually takes him a while to get drunk

He mostly stays in his room and just lets out his feelings without hurting anyone

But if he's at a party or just having fun with the band, he'll never shut up

No I'm serious, this man will just say whatever he thinks with no filter at all

2D

The epitome of a lightweight

Alcohol does give him headaches a lot so he likes to avoid it

He's the kind of drunk who talks about how much they love the person they're talking to which is so cute to the rest of the band

He also gushes about his special interests to no end and often times the person he's talking to will pretend to know what he's talking about because seeing 2D happy is the best thing on the planet

Russel

Alcohol can make him really paranoid if he gets drunk so he too tries to avoid it

But sometimes if he's paying attention to how much he's drinking, he'll have a drink when he's just hanging around by myself

Just like 2D, he'll go on and on about his love for whoever he's talking to, but sometimes he'll just talk about how much he loves the band since they're all like family to him

If he's not gushing about his buddies, he's definitely talking about the meaning of life and such, but he probably doesn't explain anything very well considering he's, well, drunk

Noodle

She's never really had an interest in alcohol but she'll have a drink if she's out with the boys or her friends

If she's at a party, she'll buy anyone drinks whether they ask her to or not because she was raised by Murdoc therefore she does what she wants

Before she has anything to drink, she'll bring straws and plastic wrap with her and put it over everyone's cups so no one can drug their drinks (Russel taught her that :3)

Once she gets everyone's drinks protected, she'll try a bunch of shots with the boys (or just Murdoc) and be the most social butterfly ever

Ace

Don't tell Cartoon Network but he drinks a lot

He loves to chill with the band with a nice glass of wine or scotch after a long day of recording and such

He really looks up to Murdoc so he'll have whatever he gets to drink when trying to impress someone, but usually it just gets him super drunk since Murdoc can handle stronger alcohol

The man looooves trying to hook up with someone but it either ends with them getting uncomfortable and leaving or him getting a call from them the next day only for him to have no memory of meeting them

Noodle always talked about male celebrities she had crushes on as a kid because she was too scared to come out to the band out of fear they wouldn't accept her. But when Murdoc started sharing his feelings for certain men to the public and the rest of the band started expressing their identities to the public as well, Noodle realized that the boys love her no matter what and are proud to call her their daughter.

Personal HC of mine is that 2D has ADD and Murdoc has ADHD... It's why, when it comes to work, writing songs, creating music and such, they work really well together, because they sort of understand each other in that way!

Would Ace ever eat hot chocolate mix? What do you think he’d do if he did?

Ace? Oh hot chocolate mix is a midnight snack for this man. He's often found (usually by Russel) in the pantry late at night just downing packets of the mix by the second. He actually once choked on the mix one time and Noodle had to stop him from choking at like 3 am (she still holds a grudge for that). 2D might join Ace because he likes the little mini marshmallows inside. When the band all sorta found out what Ace likes to do with hot chocolate mix, they once poured the mix in his mouth followed by hot water to see if they could make legit hot chocolate in his mouth. Think we all know how well that turned out.

“Ace has a mega hot gf? Can you make some head canons about it?”

(i wasn’t really planning on making these types of headcanons but hey, no harm in doing so :3)

Ace with a really hot girlfriend

He will not go a SINGLE S E C O N D without complimenting his girlfriend. He loves everything about her and will hate himself if he forgets to remind her how gorgeous she is.

The man loves getting to touch her and connect with her body. He’s very touchy-feely, y’know? So being able to touch what he loves makes him a million times more thankful to have such a hawt gorlfren.

He always brags about how hot she is to everyone he meets. “Oh yeah, I got a girlfriend, yeah? Aw man she’s the hottest babe I’ve ever seen! She got everythin’, man! Can’t have her, though; mine.”

Whenever she’s insecure, Ace will take pictures of what she’s insecure about and show them to her. He’ll tell her how beautiful each part of her is and that she’s the prettiest girl on earth.

Noodle does not “ask” for things. She tells people that they will do things for her. It’s a bad habit she picked up from Murdoc, though her take on it is more mild and less intentionally malicious. She doesn’t think she’s being rude because she’s not insulting anyone, but people find her quite disagreeable nonetheless.

“Stagehand! I need you to please get me water, I’m dying. Thank you.”

“Russel, you will bake a peach pie for dinner tonight, but you will slice up fresh peaches instead of using that canned shit like last time.”

“Murdoc, iron the patches onto my jacket in the pattern that I’ve so kindly mapped out for you on this napkin.”

“2D, it’s imperative that you do my hair for me because my hands hurt from plucking out bangers on my guitar all last night.”

Murdoc sometimes talks to himself in Spanish. He’ll talk to himself a lot and sometimes he happens to be talking in Spanish. And since Noodle knows every language known to man fluently, she’ll overhear Murdoc say the weirdest things to himself, some things she’d rather like to unhear.

Headcanon that when noodle was like 14 she had the equivalent of a high school boyfriend (even though she didn't go to school but you know) and he dumped her because those relationships never last and she's really upset and crying about it and murdoc is a shit father and doesn't know how to show affection but loves her and doesn't like seeing her upset so he just kind of sits next to her and says "he was ugly as shit anyway you deserve better. Want me to kick his ass?"

When Noodle was a child (like, in phase 1), she'd often be found napping on top of Russel's belly while he too was asleep. But now that Noodle's an adult, she can't really do that anymore. So, as an alternative to sleeping on Russel's stomach, Noodle will scream something along the lines of "IT'S CUDDLE TIME!!!!" and tackle Russ, ending in Noodle sitting on his belly whilst Russel is left very confused but not at all dissatisfied.
