==> Since their bodies become a vessel to protect magical girls and boys from death and fatal injuries, – I think Kyubey is capable to make their bodies to transform. Which why I think John can have his canon power to transform into a wind as a gifted ability to meet his friends and be anywhere in the world.

==> I didn't really change his design even after a year, which why he stayed the same. His look is based on bussiness-like look from his father and I think his plan B if his Guardian gonna find out about him being a magical boy is to pretend he's a street-performer lol

==> The Soul Gem on his tie is an emerald and the placement justified by the fact that John make his decisions by heart.

==> His witch name would be "Cedric Gunther"

==> Jade was the second one to sign a contract with Kyubey. Because of her irrational and illogical wish – "I want to be free" — she needed to break space and any rules that could get in her way to be stronger than Bec. Basically she was just draining his life power and that was the reason why he died so soon after Jade became a magical girl. The price of her wish to be free is to get rid of Bec.

==> Since she uses Bec's powers, her rifle shoot with green energy blasts.

==> I also didn't really change her design over a year, but I tried to give her more space-earth look. Her ears also is not real and just a part of her costume. Her witch hat is also a stylistic choice, but she was the first to become a witch.

==> Her Soul Gem – fluorite, which shimmers with red, purple, green and blue. It also look more Earth-like on her costume, so I decided to use this gem instead of a boring green gem. It's placement also saying about her caring nature and her strong will to help others.

==> Her witch name would be "Isobella von Wolfin"

==> Rose was the third who signed a contract. Her wish was more of an impulsive one to save a cat which reminded her of her dead one.

==> Since her wish connected with cats, she was granted her with cat-like sixth sense. I also just wanted to make something related to her being a seer.

==> Rose was the one who was wary of all this magical deal and tried to figure out all the nuances of making a deal with Kyubey. To be honest, she was just made a tutorial by sorting out an information from John and Jade, trying to figure out the difference beetween "magical people" and "normal people" and also a possible consequences. She was trying to understand of kyubey's goals and why kyubey was doing all of this, and after becoming a magical girl she was literally sacrificing herself for science and for the sake to help other people who would be in same situation.

=> Her sacrificing curiosity is a price of her wish. ("Curiosity killed a cat")

==> Despite all of this, Rose had a good relationship with Kyubey. (If we gonna count that "being the object of study" is a "good relationship)

==> Her Soul Gem is amethyst and it's placement saying that she's more a logical person and make choices by brain.

==> Her witch name would be "Theodora Dores"

==> Dave was the last one who become a magical boy. To be honest, he didn't really wanted to participate in all this stuff and done it due to circumstances.

==> Kyubey was psycholigically pressuring him to sign a contract. Basically, he was just silently staring at him out of a window while Dave was just ignoring him.

==> Even if it obvious – Dave is just Homura in this au and tries to save his friends. He also worn out time to such an extent that Jade began to see dreams of past doomed timelines.

==> Since his wish restart EVERYTHING he became a first one who signed a contract with Kyubey. Kyubey don't remember it. That also the reason why he trying to hide his identity from his friends to not encourage them become a magical girls and boys.

==> Dave's design prioritizes practicality over appearance. Before making his beetle-like helmet I thought to make him wore a normal sunglasses because "im wearing a sunglasses of ben stiller and not some normal ass ones from the first market id pass by"

==> Basically his goal to prevent his friend sign contracts with Kyubey (he's doing not very good job on that)

==> His Soul Gem is pyrope. It placed on his back showing that Dave thinks a lot about past and he can fix it.

==> His witch name would be "Gerhard"

==> unfortunately they don't really have a witch appearances right now but HOPEFULLY i make them. someday. don't know when. but I HOPE I make them.

> about "dissapoint him" ==> I think the wish of rose is a more impulsive one connected to desire to immediatly save the cat who looked like someone she once knew (I mean like. jaspers. she still loves him and shed live with a guilt if she didnt save that cat from death that literally looked like him. I guess it would be also connected that she has a fear to lose her friends or something/someone she loves)

==> the first one who we gonna talk is john since he's the one who made a wish first after encounter with kyubey

> to be more clear he thought about his wish (for which he's gonna fight for his life and lifes of many other people) maybe a bit too cluelessly because it's either was "damn itd so cool to meet up irl with niccage" to "hmm what if I'm gonna spawn some random shit in rose's room. like what if I'm gonna spawn babana peels all over her floor just for shit and giggles"

==> the last thought led him to the logical conclusion that itd be so cool to meet his friends in real life > but it gonna led to some horrible things like a huge amount of despair, fear and actual NIGHTMARE IN REALITY for his friends as the price of his wish

==> as the funfact he can turn into actual wind like in canon since bodies of magical girls and boys are not real and are just the vessels for magical girls/boys to fight more safely without a single worry .... which why I think it wouldnt be such a problem for kyubey to give him such a power that kinda fits for his wish (like he can turn up to wind and to reach the other side of the world at high speed if he so desired and make his meet up with his friends real)

==> if we gonna talk about his design:

> I tried to make his outfit more similar to his dad since john always looks up to him but also i tried to balance a business look with his goofiness

> his soul gem placement have sense (like the rest of his friends) since john make decisions leaning more on what on his heart than his brain. and also he's too kind for his own good

==> her wish connected with her freedom and her desire to go away from her island but for that she needed to get rid of bec or his almightiness

==> all the sadness and despair that bottled up inside her while she waited all her life for one moment worked like a fuel for her wish because jade needed to break the space itself and being more powerful than bec who's powers were close to god-like

==> this led to not really immediate but inevitable death of bec which became a counterweight as the price of her wish

==> jade was the most powerful magical girl but also became the most horrible witch existed in all history

==> as for addition since she was kind of seer in their group (before rose) she still see some parts of her past selves or future from some another timelines like in canon because of Dave who pointlessly reset timelines to fix it all up

==> her soul gem placement connected with her caring nature and also it looks badass as hell in her design

> since this is end of the post I want to say that after beta kids i want to do alpha kids and cherubs in this au but I need time to think about theyre wishes and how they gonna be all connected with each others....... also I want to play around with parallels at alpha kids wishes sooo yeah

I also think about include trolls in this au but I know that theyre chain of wishes gonna be HARD AS HELL to connect with each other but still not impossible ehhh

I also want to make normal references for beta kids but this task for future me after homestucktober ig ........
