being a hopeless romantic when society is fixated on hookup culture, “situationships” and emotional unavailability makes me feel like I'm in the bottom pits of hell. i yearn for pure romance. waiting for the fairytale I have always dreamed of to come true. but also thinking I won't be loved the way I love is a curse.

And if love ever finds me, may the universe let me meet someone who loves as deeply as I do. Someone who's constantly interested in the things going on in my life, someone who is kind, gentle, vocal, and devoted. Someone who will choose to stay, someone who feels like home and who also finds home in me.

when you find it, you won’t have to fight for a genuine connection. you won’t have to chase after it. you will both go to each other happily. it won’t be like the others. it will come with ease and not need to be forced.
