About TOTMM...

Tales of the Modern Monsters (often abbreviated as TOTMM), is an upcoming comic collaboration between @christmasace and @circusfreckle. It follows the story of famous classic horror lit characters living together in a modern age.

Despite the many adaptions of these famous characters, there is a theme of LGBTQ+ with them (a few of the main characters are dating each other), different genders, and POCs in the comic.

Dottie and Ace ♠ got the idea one day when Dottie designed a modern adaption of the characters from The Phantom of the Opera, and when Ace ♠ was on another Dracula kick. Eventually, the whole thing spiraled up into ‘What if Dracula and the Headless Horseman lived with this modern Erik?’, ‘Can we include Jekyll and Hyde too?’ ‘What about Frankenstein and his creature?’. The original idea before the comic came into being was calling everybody the ‘Spoop Squad’- until a more professional name came to mind, hence TOTMM.
