Facial Reconstruction surgery is miraculous, and even more so when able to faithfully recreate the human face, just as Oz had commissioned for his Nephew after signing him onto his whole “Revolution” idea.

This brings up an interesting predicament: in erasing the scars and disability that Jason had, in his mind, always possessed, is he gaining an aspect of himself back, or losing it?

I’d like to think that after a while, Tim would get so fed up with being the only son of Bruce’s to not get a shot at being Robin, Tim would just say “fuck it” and become a hero independent of Bruce, to the extreme enthusiasm of Connor Danvers and Diana.

Dick would be a bit opposed to the idea, sharing Bruce’s ideology that Tim was mainly brains and charisma, but would eventually eat his words when the Titans gained a new adversary 😊

Hood’s definitely my favorite character to write thus far, esp with all the greys of his characterization 😭😭

We’ll get to know a bit more about him and his history with the lastest chapters, but fret not!

I have no intention of getting rid of the mystery around him.

Especially with who he ends up working with 😊😊🫶

I’d like to think that one of the core values that still remained intact, even after Jason’s brain trauma, was his love of dogs- especially the “military breeds”.

While he wouldn’t know this, this value came from not only Bruce adopting a one-legged Mal after he was retired from the GCPD, but also because he finds them relatable; the quiet ones, especially. Dogs like that were often dumped into the streets of Gotham and abandoned, so he learned to appreciate them.

Ace 2.0 was a gift from Harley for Jason’s birthday, though this was after she became Batgirl. It was Jason’s decision to name the puppy Ace (He thought, like “an Ace up his sleeve”, only subconsciously remembering the Bat-hound from childhood).

Joker, though, was still furious at Harley, and recognizing the ploy to try to sway Jason to abandon him, threatened to throw the puppy back to the streets where it “belonged”. (Probably because it reminded him too much of Bud and Lou). The plan backfired, and Jason, going against years of mental programming, threatened to literally kill his boss if Joker so much as laid a finger on the dog.

This was before Jason eventually quit working for Joker altogether, after Joker let slip that he had been lying to Jason about his origins.

Indeed there are!

I don’t have him in a stone solid role for him just yet, but I imagine he’ll be a teenager, and a strong parallel to Duke.

He’ll definitely be connected to the Penguin, though. But I doubt he’ll just be another one of Oz’s lackeys.
