Matilda Hunkel's Century-Long Life

An advanced, self-actualized 1930s gynoid built in Poland and gifted to the Hunkels by close family friend Tomek Ovadya Morowski.

Helped Amelia and Huey Hunkel flee the invasion of Poland after their family was killed, becoming their caretaker in Civic City, America. Worked as a grocer.

Became a superhero to hide her identity while fighting her ward's kidnappers... not knowing that Civic City was also the headquarters of the Justice Society of America.

Befriended strange characters like adventurer Tex Thompson and Apex Broadcasting Company president Alan Scott, eventually becoming a honorary member of the Justice Society.

Quietly kept going as an adventurer after her children grew up and traveled away... only for that life to be cut short when she ended up being confiscated by the Bureau of Oddities.

The Bureau of Oddities immediately began using Matilda as a test subject, with their final experiment leading to Matilda becoming the host of a wind-like alien intelligence known as Ulthoon.

Completely subsumed by Ulthoon, the entity would escape into the greater galaxy, becoming a recurring threat to the faraway human scientist Adam Strange.

Decades of battle across the galaxy alongside the occasional return to Earth and access to Matilda's memory banks led to Ulthoon regretting his life of evil, eventually laying dormant within Red Tornado to contemplate.

Found and fixed by a time-jumped Tomek (now going by T. O. Morrow), Matilda was missing huge chunks of her memory yet still beheld a fascination with the costumed adventurers of old, eventually joining the JSA's modern counterpart the Justice League.

Stayed with the League throughout, meeting her 'sister' Red Torpedo, learning of her creator's turn to villainy and occasional bouts of conscience, and eventually managing to piece her memory back together before the Justice League was forced to disband in the wake of the Luthor Administration.

Post-Infinite Crisis, Ma found herself exploring the corporate side of superheroics after falling in love with Bialyan refugee Khadija Sultan. Wanting to support her and her baby daughter Traya, Matilda ended up agreeing to head a new business venture known as Heroz4U.

Which ended badly.

Reuniting with various former Justice League members after the defeat of Brother Eye and the dissolution of Heroz4U, Ma would end up becoming one of the founders of the new Justice League Unlimited, tied the knot with Khadi, and settled down in Poland with her new family.

Codename: Umbra (Based on Raven)

Anthony is the product of his human mother Sylvia from Azarath and the demon lord Trigon, who impregnated her without her consent. Anthony grew up hidden away in England living with her and his stepfather Bradley (who he sees as his real dad).

Because getting too emotional would summon Trigon, Anthony was forced to be reserved at all times. This lead to him being ostracized from others as a youth. He began as a hero by saving his parents from a mugger, getting his magic under control for the first time.

Whereas most kids from England thought he was aloof and cold, his friends at DC have found that's he's just a bit snarky and in reality is more of a kindhearted yet very socially awkward boy who would rather read than get into any sort of fight. For his part, Umbra tries his best to be sweet to both fellow Teen Titans and other heroes, but will be blunt if he admits he doesn't care about what they are doing.

He used to rely solely on magic, but Rogue (Zoe) and the other titans have gotten a reluctant Umbra to start exercising and sparring, even if he's kinda rubbish at it. He even teared up when Lacey and Victoria gave him a referee cloak for their stinkball game. (Anthony wears his cloak because he thinks it makes him look cool and because it's like a permanent weighted blanket.)

Has a surprising friendship with Hex, even though they fight since she's part of the Fiendish Five. This is because Eri secretly wants to be more of a hero, and Anthony and Simon are the ones who are slowly coaxing her to the side of good.

He's also deeply in love with his evil boyfriend MalevoLyrcist, who often serenades the goth with spooky songs. The two find that they give the other a lot of comfort and show their softer sides to eachother.
