My fiance, Chel is disabled, but our living situation requires that they still work when they can, so they drive for Lyft. However right now, they are having one of the worst flare ups they’ve had since the chronic pain and chronic fatigue all started. They can’t keep themself awake, they can’t sit upright for more than an hour, every part of them hurts in one way or another, and all of that makes it very hard to drive for hours at a time. On top of that, we’re supposed to get up to 10 inches of snow today, and more throughout the weekend.

Chel’s going into Urgent Care tomorrow, and that means they can’t work. This wouldn’t be an issue if we didn’t have three bills overdue that need immediate attention: $140 for the phone bill, $97 for electric, and $103 for internet. That’s $340 we need by Sunday that we aren’t going to be able to get (my next paycheck isn’t until the 24th). The phone and electric bills can’t be pushed back anymore, but I’m going to call tomorrow about the internet to see if we can get another week before its shut off. It’ll be super helpful if that works.

Anything helps at this point, even just $5. I want Chel to be able to take this time to recover without worrying about the bills.

Chel makes a living driving for Lyft. Overnight it rained and froze, which resulted in about an inch of ice everywhere. The local bus service was suspended. They are going to work anyway today, because they have to, but anything you could contribute to help them work less would be amazing. $20= an hour they dont have to work. They have to hit $130 before they stop for the day.

So Chel has been driving with Lyft to help cover rent this month, but we’re worried that we aren’t going to make quite enough to cover rent completely, especially with the way weather has been in Minnesota lately. It’s super dangerous for them to be out driving right now, so the more help we get, the less they have to drive in this.
