Caelum: beloved little brother, finds him adorable at times and honestly, he can't do any wrong in her eyes. would commit murder if he was in danger.

Caspian: ex. she wishes things had been different. she wishes their kids had lived. she wishes... no. no used crying over lost dreams... so she left.

Caspian's Brothers, Niece: loved them dearly. writes letters to augustine from time to time.

Caspian:

Augustine: younger brother. worries for him. knows how deeply the loss of his wife hit him. does his best to try and be his pillar of strength when he needs it.

Silas: baby brother. finds him amusing and appreciates silas being the glue to keep caspian and augustine from going too far. glad at least his brother has hobbies and friends.

Lyra: dear niece. lyra has him wrapped around her finger and honestly, he thanks her for it. fondly remembers lyra holding onto his arm or sitting on his shoulder, or even showing him her arts and crafts. she still does the latter. proudly wears earrings or rings she's crafted. worries about her eccentric natures sometimes, however. knows she's grieving in her own way.

Aster: ex. misses her. she was the greatest thing that happened to him and... he knows it can never be that way again. mourns their lost children still some nights.

Caelum: employee, friend. glad he went to be with aster, but does miss the extra help around the bar.

Lyra: darling daughter. she can't do any wrong in his eyes. misses when the days were simpler and she smiled a bit more. misses chasing each other as dragons or him reading to her a book she had just gotten. spoils her rotten.

Caspian: older brother. respects him immensely, knows he's hurting when he won't say so about aster and their lost kids. wishes he'd figure out what he wants to do with his heart at some point, however.

Silas: baby brother. loves him dearly but sometimes gets a bit exasperated over his carefree attitude.

Aster: caspian's ex. despite everything, he views her as a friend. the two often spent nights drinking together with his wife when she was alive. he misses her spirited nature.

Caelum: friend, little brother figure. glad he and silas are still exchanging letters. aware of the nature of their relationship even if others aren't.

Caspian: oldest brother. respects him, and vice versa. finds the fact he has a woman on each arm often a bit amusing. wishes he'd go find aster himself and drag her back home, cause then, maybe, caelum would come home too.

Augustine: older brother. hates to see how broken he is. dragons live longer then most, an thus, ten years of mourning is sometimes only a year to some. nevertheless, he hopes his brother's joy comes back again soon. it's what his wife would have wanted.

Lyra: niece. the closest to lyra in recent days and a sympathetic ear to the fact she doesn't know how she's supposed to grieve. often seen with her on his day off. glad she's at least making friends.

Aster: older sister figure, friend. sad that caspian and her broke up. he would've liked to see their kids running around natlan. understands some wounds can never truly heal, and so, he just hopes she's doing alright in fontaine.

Caelum: best friend, ex. fell in love with him when he knows he shouldn't have. his heart aches for caelum but he's learning to move on as caelum isn't coming home for a long, long time.

Augustine: father. respects him immensely, but worries for his well-being. can be exasperated with his protectiveness at times. misses the happier times when her mother was alive.

Caspian: uncle. respects him immensely. misses being small enough to sit on his shoulder at times and yet, he looks forward to all the stories he tells about him, her dad, and silas when they were younger. the jewelry he wears were the pieces she forged herself. gives the best hugs.

Silas: favorite uncle, closest confidant. seeks him out for comfort in learning how to navigate her grief.

Aster: aunt figure. misses aster's cooking and going flying with her as dragons. hopes she's doing well in fontaine.

Caelum: older brother figure. aware of the nature of his relationship with silas, and now that they're just friends. hopes he's doing alright.

merlin: doting partner. he is a man who doesn't do things in halves. he is loyal to a fault. would rewrite reality to see his partner happy. tends to stick close to his lovers and remains within their orbit in some capacity. he seeks to not be bored as he's more or less seen humanity rise and fall. he is an intense lover who will gladly end someone's existence for his partner. he is also the type of person who enjoys being open and experimental in bed. luckily for him he found his match in ava.

nathaniel: family man. affectionate big cat with his person. will purr for them, will tease them gently so. he aims to be their anchor, as he expects them to be his. uses 'babe', 'baby', 'sweetheart'. doesnt fluster easily, but gets amused. needs an equal. he got where he is by crawling through the dirt. domesticity is something he's used too as well as being a warrior. should be noted he has killed one person (sienna's abuser), and nearly killed another and had to be stopped (zhongli). he will not hesitate to kill someone for his partner if he finds out they've been wronged.

venti: free spirit, but when with the right person, he is a doting partner. especially if he chooses to allow himself to be tethered. affectionate looks and gifts. uses 'my beloved'. flustered when with the right person. does enjoy being caught off-guard, retaliates with relentless teasing. does not shy away from helping his partners when he's around. for example; while he is a patron at chiharu's bar, he does help her out afterward or keeps an eye on the bar while she steps away for a moment. would kill for his partner in the shadows. as an anemo sprite and someone who has seen war. there is no hesitation if he views it necessary.

zhongli: devoted mountain. protective and the unshakeable anchor. nothing they do can break his resolve to be there for them. less likely to be affectionate at first due to who he is as a person, but once he's comfortable, he usually has one hand on the small of his partner's back. often uses their names but in rare instances; 'my heart'. doesnt fluster often. when he does, he more shows it with the flustering near his ears. not a tease as zhongli, but is as morax. has a godly arrogance as morax. domesticity is a given (does not shy away from mundane tasks). as a former war god, there would be no hesitation on his end to protect his someone. actually, it might trigger his morax side which his partner would have to bring him out of.

kazuha: devoted. very in tune with their emotions. observant. with his finely tuned hearing, he reads their heartbeats easily enough. soft forehead kisses and forehead touches are a must. often uses their names must for the right person, he calls them such as (for example) sora is 'my heart'). doesnt fluster. he does the flustering. does domesticity but is a wanderer. he needs someone who is willing to travel with him. a warrior by nature, if there was no choice, he would not hesitate to kill.

friede (pokemon blog): hand-holding and forehead kisses. usually reserves other affections for privacy (his upbringing in kanto), but he treats his partner as an equal. he values their mind as well as their body and autonomy. uses 'baby' or 'babe'. sometimes is flustered but more often then not its him doing the flustering. not afraid to shirk from domesticity but also respects his free spirit... luckily for him, he's found that someone. he doesnt have it in him to kill but there would be a point made by his pokemon (as extensions of himself) or by a well-placed kick to the gut.

kianga (pokemon blog): giant cat. affectionate. doting. would burn the world for them. he almost did for parker. definitely needs someone to sit and cradle his face and just let him breathe. protective and guards them fiercely. doesnt use nicknames too often. his words are often actions. doesnt fluster. simply smiles and dishes it back. needs someone who's also a wanderer. no hesitation would kill for his partner. he's done it already. more blood on his hands doesnt bother him.

axel (pokemon blog): tease, but is a shadow often behind them giving a glare to anyone who approaches who he doesnt deem worth their time. for them, he is soft. playing with their hair, smiles that reach his eyes. when he falls, he falls hard. he values their drive, their goals -- they are his now too, as he expects the same in return. often uses 'baby' or 'my heart' on rare occasion. does the teasing/flustering. its hard... VERY HARD... to fluster this man. loves domesticity (cooking, cleaning). growing up in orre, he has blood on his hands. would give them a chance to run before simply doing away with them. has not a yandere side, but a dark side nonetheless when his partner is in danger.

zhengyi: absolute doting partner. melts in their touch and proves to be a fiercely protective partner. values their autonomy. likely gives them one of his feathers if only to know when they're in danger. will not hesitate to kill to keep them safe, often has to be stopped. is not against domesticity. kisses along the shoulders are a thing. often calls them 'my love' or 'my dearest', or if hes feeling mischievous; 'my wind' as in the wind beneath his wings. if an attempt to fluster him is made... well, he'll take it as an invitation and help himself to his partner. no question, depending on what it was that happened, he would just kill the person. normally not violent otherwise.

chixian (chigiri hyoma fc): easily flustered if only how deeply he feels for his partners, young. however, he often is the one to dish back the teasing. doting partner. gives his all here as he does everything in life. fiercely protective and possessive. his hotblooded nature will not tolerate his partner being around anyone else. often has to be reminded about autonomy. feels remorseful afterwards. zhengyi often has to sigh and give advice. if pushed, probably would kill someone. doesnt use nicknames yet.

hajime: fiercely protective partner. possessive at some points. always has a hand around their waist. desires someone he can protect. doesnt want someone weak; just someone who he can devote himself too. flustered only when provoked by his partner. desires to be able to come home to them and listen to their day as they listen to his. domesticity is absolutely something he will devote himself too. killing someone? yes. yes he would. hes a tenryou officer who has seen war. hes not violent, but he doesnt have patience for people who disrupt his partner's life or the lands of inazuma. can be smug and a tease with his actions when with the right person. calls his partners 'dearest' or 'my love'.

tsubasa: the one character who gives 'modern day teenage boyfriend from a shojo manga' vibes. bad boy who has a playfully aggressive personality. HUGE doggo vibes when with the right person. dotes on them to a point its disgusting to some. they become his entire world. hes never killed anyone but he has fought people before (aka sora's fiance the red prince). not shy. will tease and open to all kinds of intimacy (even adding a person to the bedroom if his partner is willing). becomes ENRAGED when his partner is in danger (for example, with kinich and finding out about ajaw and how he'll possess his body after, his first instinct is to eat ajaw to assert his dominance). easily emotional if his partner is in danger. he is a good boy boyfriend to his partners. calls his partner 'babe' or other cute nicknames.

pan: the ancient soul who just wants a place to rest. he is devoted to his partners. if he finds the right person, he will devote his entire life to them and will find them no matter what form he's in across all his lives (life, death). he is the ultimate loyal partner. they become the only voice who can pull him out of his rage. for them, he would burn the world and then create it again in what makes them happy. he loved theodora as fiercely as he loves ivy (in an AU). he will never push his partner too far and is not against domesticity. he is a bit of a tease in the right moments but normally is just a very affectionate partner. he falls harder if they treat his daughter with care. calls his partners 'darling' or 'my heart'.

caelum: the college boyfriend experience. he is the type of guy who once he falls, his love is spoken by how much he watches them. he flirts relentlessly and loves to tease, but he is soft with them. the problems arise with his draconic nature. he can become irritable in the summer due to his draconic heat, but for them, for them and to make sure they dont suffer because of it, he often seals himself away. he will not allow himself to treat his precious partner as a simple release for his urges, so usually its the partner who sets the pace with him. in the winter, he creates a makeshift nest of blankets and other things and usually is cuddly then. he often makes pieces of art for them and if they get married? he definitely forges the rings himself. he treats them like a prince/princess/royalty. dates, attending their events, going into their hobbies... he dotes on them relentlessly. not to mention, if provoked, he might kill, but to be honest he'd just seriously maim. his heart is too pure for violence truly. calls his partners 'baby' or 'babe'.

caspian: the flirt who wont give up if hes interested... especially if theyre a redhead. hes smug and hes proud and his pride can easily get wounded if rejected, but hes not an asshole -- not completely. if theyre truly uninterested or uncomfortable he will back off. if hes spurned after being led on, he can give into his draconic pride a bit to intimidate said person. beneath it all, he is a very warm and explosive lover. needs physical intimacy absolutely. he is a passionate man who requires the ability to show his partner his love in full. skilled and never leaves them unsatisfied (tries not too). in the summer, his draconic nature is amplified. he is not a gentle person in the summer. in the winter, he often builds nests like other dragons and is content to lay with his partner in the quiet. the summer is where he rules. not a violent person but would intimidate anyone who harms his partner.

augustine: the gentleman lover. when he devotes to someone, he devotes to them. due to losing his wife, his way of viewing romance is this; he already had the best, but hes willing to take a chance on love again. he is seeking someone just as long-lived as he is. he dotes on them, gifts, dates... he half-asses nothing. he is within their space almost always, one hand on the small of their back. he is a patient, sensual lover and he rules the springtime courting unlike caspian. in the summer he lets his partner set the pace. in the winter, when he nests, he takes time off for weeks at a time to spend with his partner. has killed before. will do it again. calls his partners 'darling' or 'my heart'.

silas: the flirty soft lover. despite how he comes across, silas is a very submissive male dragon and is very soft and affectionate. he leans into them and allows himself to be held. always checking on them. always asking how theyre doing. he is gentle in how he handles his partners. in the spring, he doesnt court traditionally. he asks directly if they'd be interested and in the summer, if they are, he gives himself willingly. he makes it very clear where things remain between them. its the winter where he shines; the nesting is when he is his most affectionate and most attentive. he is often very sleepy in the winter as well. could never harm anyone, but he is that one person who appears behind said person who dares to harm his partner and warns them in a low voice if he catches them near his partner again, he'll let his brother (augustine) handle them. calls his partner 'babe' or 'baby'.

Caspian: the Fool - carefree, but also careless, a cycle of grief and releasing grief … because someone had to be the Fool

Echo: the Tower - upheaval, finding your footing amidst destruction and massive change, self-discovery in that sense … I know the Fool seemed like an obvious pick but it just didn’t quite match imo

Sanguine: Death (reversed) - on the cusp of change, still clinging to bad habits and self doubt, able to understand that change needs to happen but is afraid of committing to it … the Devil would also fit him, but I wanted to go with Death bc I think the Devil puts him in the position of “holding someone else’s chains,” and while yes it could be a self-holding thing I think Death reversed covers everything

Mankar: the Hierophant (reversed) - wisdom, going against status quo and tradition, questioning authority … no notes this one just works

Sweetheart: the Hanged Man (reversed) - shit is hitting the fan and he’s hanging in the balance, doesn’t want to face an unfair world, stays where he is and busies himself to make it seem like he’s doing something even if it’s meaningless … I was also thinking Wheel of Fortune or Tower because they’re both about “every plot ever is happening and you need to HOLD ON” but when it came to Sweetheart’s mantle, he kinda eats himself alive and it lined up the Hanged Man in that regard

As dragons, its customary for dragons to bow to one another, trilling and other songs to ask for a 'dance'. As humans, it can be seen as old-fashioned courting, sometimes flowers sometimes items, usually soft trilling and affection being shown.

Dragons as a species are very affectionate with their mates/partners. They feel as deeply as they burn and they see no shame in physical affection in front of others.

When it comes to dragons courting outside their species, they will still 'court' in a similar fashion such as flowers, soft songs and what not but there is no asking of a 'dance'. However, sometimes, a dragon will bow to their chosen non-dragon partner as a sign that 'I'm choosing you and I hope you might choose me?'. This is purely a gesture of reverence.
