Sailor Jerry Collins studies.

I've left my tattoo apprenticeship due to some wrist and hand pain issues from handling the tattoo machines, but I'm taking this time to heal, stretch, and practice traditional styles/build my portfolio in anticipation of coming back strong a while down the road. Stay safe everybody <3. If you want to be tattooed by me, it might take a little longer than I had hoped, but I'm going to keep studying, so stay tuned <3.

Big thanks to @vertigotheatre for rescheduling some tickets for me so I could still check out my artist showcase in their lobby and catch a performance of Sherlock Holmes and the Raven's Curse, along with some of my best friends 💛. This pair of silver blue goldfish were two of the first paintings I made in 2017. The heavy texturing is from repurposed canvas plus a generous helping of molding paste. I used india ink to sharpen the lines, and I'm still so happy with how they turned out <3
