Tarnwings (Ghostwing × Tarn) — Avalanche
Even since his Academy days, Ghostwing has been cold and reserved, but he sought risk and complex challenges. He saw in Tarn someone capable of throwing down such a gauntlet, forcing his inner convictions to "strain" and testing their resilience.
An avalanche occurs when a fragile equilibrium is broken under stress. That external pressure was Tarn's fanatical faith. Ghostwing was drawn to that power, it excited him as a researcher. Tarn became the force that stirred Ghostwing's mind.
This is the peak of their relationship: the reserved Ghostwing yields to Tarn's impulse. Their bond is like an Avalanche, where ideals, ambitions, and intellect intertwine.
Megatron, for these two, is a rocky fault against which the flow breaks and loses speed. For Tarn, he is the foundation of existence, but for Ghostwing, he is an alien element that shatters his personal ideals.
When Tarn's fanaticism crosses a line, Ghostwing walks away. The avalanche stops, and he returns to his original state (like snow that has settled) cold and reserved.
This is a relationship that was doomed from the very start.
It would have been better to post these associations with natural phenomena in chronological order, but it turned out this way. So suffice it to say that before Ghostwing found someone with whom he truly formed trusting and close bonds, he had his own path, one that can hardly be called "simple"
