actually i'm really liking that thor's personal journey in thor 4 is going to be centered around him finding himself without an axe or hammer in his hands, and using his body as a 'tool of peace' rather than as a weapon. because he was born to fight. he was raised to fight. his entire existence was a constant battlefield. it was WHO he was. so thor choosing to explore his identity outside of that is so interesting to me

I have mixed feelings about the gotg in thor 4 BUT I will say watching peter quill say “if you ever feel lost look into the eyes of the people you love” while staring at his found family was nice

i don't give a shit about the mcu but avengers fanfic authors in 2012 were accidentally some of the funniest people alive when they wanted to include everyone in their found family story but didn't know what to do with hawkeye so they would just shove him in the vents like a creature
