Per @reasons-why-kerr-avon-is-smiling: No smile is too small, no reason too obscure! :) And my heart is also warmed by these two. I didn’t expect it but they crept up on me. I sat on S3 for months because of them: just didn’t want it to end…
When I was 12, Sarcophagus broke my angsty teenage heart.
@ruth-dw I was nineteen and Sarcophagus hoisted my heart up by it’s collar and slapped it’s face (whilst also making my chuckle with it’s theatrics in bedsheet robes). In all honesty, though, it is one of my favourites. I was getting some vibes from these two, more or less right after Cally first appeared. I really thought that there was going to be a definately romantic relationship there, or at least heavier implications. They snuck up on me, too, as I did not expect to enjoy their dynamic so much. Now, I am just delighted when they get a moment to themselves. I will forever be slightly bitter that no more really came of their relationship, post-Sarcophagus, at least not explicitly. Sorry to hijack, but I did not want to miss the opportunity to babble about Cally and Avon.

I was young enough to take the theatrics totally seriously, and therefore I still can. However, I saw the massively cut version first, making the theatrics completely impenetrable, and therefore mysterious.

A/C babble is not a hijack here! I too wished for more A/C after Sarcophagus but then took solace from Moloch. One can totally see Avon and Cally being a thing in it, and they were even given time for this - 2 months going to Sardos and back. I should make some A/C Moloch gifs to soothe my heart. Last good time they had before Terminal ruined everything… Still, it could be much worse. It could’ve been ruined by terrible scripts in the beginning of S4. Imagine Cally leaving with Justin! *shudder*.
@i-fought-space, I love the smiles blog so much because it gives me a Purpose, and an excuse to watch B7 and Avon’s smiles to my heart’s content, all in the name of Science. :) Such a great idea!
