Aelita and this specific Deoxys are very codependent, the two constantly rely on each other mentally and emotionally. It helps that Aelita can communicate telepathically with Psychic Pokémon so; the two would often be each other’s main source of company (aside from the other pkmn in her team ofc)

Deoxys was NOT fond when Saturn moved in and especially not when she started dating him (granted, Aelita and Saturn did know each other longer as not only childhood friends but also both were admins until Aelita ran away and then the team fell apart a while after) ANYYWASY when they eventually broke up, Deoxys tried to fill in that void
