Rei: He’s the very definition of water itself, free and unconstrained by anything. We must follow his example, too, Nagisa-kun!

Nagisa: Eeeh… but Haru-chan is Haru-chan! Oh, but, but, if we practice a whooooole lot until we’re almost melted in water, maybe we can become like Haru-chan as well? “I only swim free…!” (sparkle☆)

Rei: Hmmm, I can’t say you exactly nailed it.

Nagisa: Whaaat!? Fine, Rei-chan, you give it a shot. Alright, 3, 2, 1, go!

Haruka: …it’s not like I said I wanted to go there or something.

Makoto: Fufu, alright, alright. Did you also go somewhere else?

Haruka: There’s a big supermarket close to the hotel, and that’s where we got our lunch.

Haruka: Rin was there, so it worked out okay. There were lots of snacks and instant food, but they were all in big portions.

Makoto: That’s amazing, as I’d expect from overseas.

Rin: Yo, what’s up, Makoto?

Makoto: Ah, Rin, sorry for calling out of the blue. Well, Haru and I both want to get a new phone, and we’re at the shop right now.

Rin: Okay.

Makoto: But it’s our first time using a smartphone, so we’re kinda lost… Rin, you said you changed your phone to a smartphone a while back, didn’t you?

Rin: Yeah.

Makoto: Like, something about how it has some new functions…?

Rin: Right, that thing that calculates time differences. When I’m back in Japan, it knows to switch to the right time zone, so it’s really useful.

Makoto: (Haru, the phone you’re fiddling with right now doesn’t have that function. You’ll need an app or something…)

Makoto: Rin, what other functions or apps would you add to your phone?

Rin: Apps, huh… I don’t really download them, but the one I use for running is convenient. It’s an app for monitoring your body conditions, and when you enter data such as your heart rate or weight, it’ll turn them into graphs that you can understand at a glance.

Makoto: I see, that sounds good, too.

Makoto: (Oh geez, Haru~! You shouldn’t download so many apps~!)

Rin: What’s going on?

Makoto: Haru just downloaded a bunch of mackerel apps to the smartphone on display at the shop…

Makoto: Rin, say something to him too~!

The Anti-Rape Belt (also couldn’t find a site), made by a group of Swedish teenagers led by Nadja Björk. It requires two hands to undo.

Anti-Rape Underwear/Bra (once again), as made by a group of Indian students. Will deliver an electric shock when met with unwanted advances, as well as sounding an alarm.

Undercover Colours. Made by 4 male undergraduates at North Carolina U, they change colours when in contact with chemicals or drugs that cause unconsciousness. Used in case you’re wary that your drink has been roofied.
