Sensory/tactile Matt Murdock headcanons
There’s a lot of foods he can’t eat, including, but not limited to, bananas, most spicy food, most types of bread, baked beans, romaine lettuce, watermelon, depending on how grainy it feels, and gluten-free versions of foods. The flour they use makes it uncomfortably grainy and chalky.
He loves having his hair stroked. In college Foggy would let him lay on his lap and play with his hair for hours.
He washes his hair every day with shampoo and conditioner. If he even goes ONE day without washing it, he can feel it getting greasy and it’ll irritate him until he washes it
Because he’s so hypersensitive, he gets turned on easily. This has led to some truly embarrassing situations.
He’s figured out that a lot of shirts that are cotton-polyester blends are smoother than 100% cotton shirts, and the more polyester there is than cotton, the better it feels to him, and he can wear most shirts like that if they’re at least 60% polyester.
Having his back rubbed feels like heaven to him, especially if it’s got a little bit of pressure applied, and if someone rubs his back he just lets out all these relaxed hums and sighs and it can even put him to sleep.

pros of chubby roommate: god-tier cuddles. everything is a pillow if he has permission. cons: none. Foggy is perfect.

sometimes he just has to be wrapped in a super tight hug for a little bit and then he’ll be okay.
stim slime is actually pretty cool and he has like 12 containers of it in his house.
