I wanted to make a post about how through theological deduction, I can come to the conclusion that curiosity is either inherently a sin, or an essential requirement of it, but then I remembered that some fish do migrate, and my whole theory fell apart.

But fish migrate to what they know - salmon return to their birth waters. As such, fish migration can be discounted as not curiosity, and the initial claim may stand.

That is a very valid point. I don't think any fish that migrate from one place to another move between waters in any unpredictable sort of patterns, only from one feeding ground to another or in set places where their breeding waters are. And therefore, it can be argued that they are not expressing curiosity about new places, but simply following old and invariable, chaste and sinless patterns of tradition.
