My two children have very different personalities. In Step 2, Misty hasn't changed much from when they was a child. They're still cheerful and approachable, but they're also very insensitive to the feelings of others except those they loves. When they loves someone, they'll do anything for them, like with their mother. There were many times Misty was upset with their mother and would cry secretly, but they never showed it because they didn't want to upset their mother or make her worry. When Misty argues with their close friends, they always gives in first, even if they're right. They won't argue or say hurtful things, no matter how much the other person hurts them.

This is very different from Daraka. Daraka was very shy in Step 1; she would always hide behind Tamarack when she was scared. But in Step 2, she's much braver. She speaks her mind directly. When she's sad, she cries right there; when she's angry, she makes a grumpy face and furrows her brows. When arguing with friends, she'll argue until she wins (only if she's confident she's right; if it's a matter where neither side is right or wrong, Daraka will give in after a few words( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ)

Cove and March7th are my favorite characters (my husband and wife ૮꒰⸝⸝> ̫ <⸝⸝꒱ა). I started playing Our Life right after graduating from high school and felt incredibly attached to Cove. Especially during Step 3, I almost cried because it felt so realistic to my life right now.

In step 3, Daraka attempts to grow her hair long for the first time in her life and becomes more daring in her fashion choices. If she were dating Tamarack in step 2, Daraka would be very clingy and affectionate towards Tamarack, and she would still be as jealous as ever. She would do everything to ensure that everyone in the world knew she and Tamarack were dating.

Misty got piercings in their eyebrows, lip, and belly button, and underwent Top Surgery. They had always been self-conscious about their breasts, and having them removed made their much happier. Misty remains completely infatuated with Qiu. They has spoiled Qiu since childhood, and always finds them charming no matter what they wears. However, Qiu in a dress is what makes Misty flustered; They LOVES them in dress so much. Every time Qiu wore a dress, they would blushes and becomes speechless. Qiu often teases them about this.

Misty fell in love with Qiu at first sight. They didn't want to be just friends from the start. Misty made it very clear that they have a crush on Qiu, and everyone knew this, even Qiu knew. And Qiu was waiting for Misty to confess their feelings, but Misty was clueless; they didn't know that Qiu liked them too. I think Misty might accidentally blurt out their feelings to Qiu in step 2, and Qiu would shout, "Finally!!!!"

As for Daraka, she didn't love Tamarack at first sight, but Tamarack's cheerfulness eventually made Daraka fall for her. She has been denying her feelings ever since, fearing that if she confessed, they would no longer be close friends. I think someone like Daraka would probably confess her feelings in step 3, because after graduating, she'll be going to university, and she wants to express her feelings before she leaves. However, it's also possible she'll confess in step 2, because she gets jealous easily. If someone tried to flirt with Tamarack, I think she wouldn't be able to bear it. Even though she's afraid of losing their friendship, she'd definitely risk confessing her love.
