Hi! Looking through the application rn,
Just wanted to point out that I don't see any question relating to personal schedules on the form like you said there was in a previous post
I also have a couple of suggestions:
There should be an option to confirm if you'd like to submit 1 or multiple submissions for the zine
I also feel there should be an option to say you want to do the prologue or epilogues of a step too
Since you said in a previous post that you will allow participants to submit canon divergent content + There could be case where you receive more applicants than expected, I feel a good work around this is to have an additional questionbox where we can go into detail about what we'll be submitting for our chosen step. That way, you can make sure more people can participate and prevent people from submitting similar submissions. Additionally, this could help prevent people submitting potentially inappropriate or offensive content for the zine
Actually now that I think about it, if you're certain you only want a certain number of people participating, do you have any plans what you'll do if you recieve more applicants than expected?
Hello! I appreciate all your questions and thoughts on this and am happy to answer and clarify a few things.
So yes, I did originally plan to have a question about scheduling however, the more I thought about it, for me, it didn't make sense to have people tell me their schedule if I end up not accepting them as a contributer.
This is something I will discuss when accepted contributers.
Same with the thing about submitting multiple contributions and people's plans with their submissions, this is something that feels like it would make more sense to discuss with accepted contributers.
Rather than making people type a lot of stuff out just to get rejected.
About the prolouge and epilogue thing, since there is one of each per step, my plan was to select someone working on each step to do it. How this ends up being done in the long run is based entirely on how many applicants we get.
As for my plan with how many applicants I do end up with, I have different plans for different numbers. There is a maximum of contributers, obviously, no zine would run well if it ended up with too many.
Thank you for asking, I hope I was able to clarify a few things. If you need further clarification please reach out.
