It was July 4th and Piers and Chris were getting ready to head to the lake for a July 4th trip and to meet up with Claire along with Leon and a few others. Piers had bought a ton of fireworks including his favorite which was sparklers. He loved how colorful and bright they were and the fact that he found it interesting that you could hold them.
Piers picked up a few more things that he was bringing and shoved them in the back of the vehicle as Chris waited in the driver's seat. "Piers, we don't have all day." He said as Piers then climbed into the passenger side. "I'm ready!" He said before pulling the seatbelt over himself. "This is exciting! I haven't seen Leon and the others in a while!" Chris just started up the car as they began to head to the lake where they were meeting the others.
It was actually a long trip and Piers had fallen asleep a few times but once they were there Chris lightly tapped his shoulder. "We're here." Piers groggily looked around to see a cabin and a few vehicles parked outside of it. Piers then excitedly hopped out of the car but then dread hit his face once the sudden realization hit him that he forgot his inhibitors. He gulped and got back in the car.
"We have to go back. I forgot something." He said before looking at Chris. Chris shook his head. "We're too far away from home to go back. What did you forget?" Piers looked down. "My inhibitors." He said before looking back up at Chris. Chris immediately hit his hand against the steering wheel in frustration.
"Dammit Piers. We are too far to go back." Piers went silent before just getting out of the car. Chris realized that he shouldn't have gone off on him over a simple mistake. Piers just walked to the cabin unsure of what to do or say. Was him and Chris fighting? He wasn't sure but it hurt him.
Chris quickly got out of the car and followed after Piers as he said his name. "Piers. Piers!" Piers then stopped and turned around. "Chris. You know how important those are to me. This is my body and my life and-" Chris suddenly embraced Piers. "I know and I'm sorry." Piers embraced him back. "I forgive you, Chris. I just.." Chris then sighed. "We'll just go back home for the holidays."
Piers looked away before nodding. "What about the others?" He asked. Chris then sighed. "I'm pretty sure they'll understand." Piers then lightly kissed Chris before pulling away to head back to the car. "Alright then. Let's go home."
STARRY NIGHT'S THOUGHTS
Piers was sitting back on the patio staring at the sky by himself. He would come outside sometimes to think about his life and think about things that happened to him. It was one of his coping mechanisms. That night he thought about how thankful he was to have Chris in his life and how accepted he was. Although he was tired of the lingering effects of the virus and he was tired of using inhibitors all the time to stay stable but he would do it all over again if it means Chris lived.
A smile appeared on his face as he brushed his fingers over the two dog tags around his neck. "I love him so much." He said to himself before suddenly Chris could be heard. "Are you out here thinking to yourself again?" He asked. Piers nodded. "Yeah, it's weird but it's also comforting." Chris moved to sit on the bench beside him and wrapped an arm around him.
"You know you can always talk to me right?" Piers leaned onto Chris. "I know. But I also know how busy you are and I just don't want to add stress on top of it." Chris looked towards him. "Piers you wouldn't be. We're partners. When I gave you that ring it also meant that you can lay your burdens on me. Don't forget that." He then ruffled Piers' hair. Piers stared at the ring on his finger. "Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry." He looked over at Chris before kissing his cheek and then standing up and stretching.
"I thought you were asleep." He asked. Chris looked up at him. "I was but when I turned over and you weren't there." Piers frowned. "Oh.." He glanced down for a moment. "Hey, Piers." Chris asked before Piers glanced back towards him. "I love you. Keep that in mind and we'll find a way to rid this virus from your body. I promise." Piers nodded. "I love you too."
He went quiet after that and then proceeded to walk inside. He glanced at the clock. "6am." He sighed before going into the fridge and pulling out a small box that contained his inhibitor shots. He followed the schedule he had and at 6am he always took his first daily dose. Chris came inside of the house with a cigarette in his mouth at this point he had been thinking over a few things himself. It wasn't about Piers but it was more so job wise. Piers was in the middle of injecting himself with the shot before then pulling it out and disposing of the empty syringe. He then proceeded to sterilize where he injected himself. He then put the box back in the fridge.
He needed to go lay down. He was starting to get tired. Chris noticed this and picked Piers up into his arms. "Alright, time for bed." Piers smiled and yawned. "Yeah.."
a bit of constructive critism if you okay with that? I feel your drabbles would be improved if you didn't always use the word said. But instead explained how the character is speaking. They're great but yeah, not using said would improve them too.

William Birkin was arrested due to the incident and Albert had vanished. Alex wasn't really surprised though. As close as the three were they were eventually bound to separate. Of course, Wesker's disappearance was no shock to him but it meant something to him.
Chris quickly turned towards Alex and spoke. "That's captain to you, Morisetti. Now, do we have the machine guns ready?" Nivans have a thumbs up before nodding. "Ready Captain." Alex looked towards Piers. "Wait we're taking that thing out with machine guns? That thing is huge." He turned to Chris. "Captain!" Chris brought his hand up to his face. "Turrets. That was the word I was looking for." Alex took a deep breath. He knew that would have been impossible.
Chris wondered how Alex got on his team and was unsure why an ex umbrella scientist was even allowed to join them. Especially since he acts like he has no experience. Alex gripped onto the turret and aimed. Chris then ordered them to target the giant B.O.W. before the arm of the giant B.O.W. quickly knocked the helicopter out of the air and the 3 were scattered.
Chris landed in an area that was on top of a roof and Piers landed on the top of an old 18 wheeler and then rolled and dropped on the ground and then Alex came falling right on top of him. "Thanks for saving me, Nivans." Piers then pushed Alex off. "We need to find Chris." Alex sighed. "We can't do anything with the B.O.W. around." Nivans thought for a moment. "I'd say we sneak around it." He then glanced up at the giant B.O.W. and quickly nodded. "Okay, but if we go. We go together. Let's go find our captain."

"So what's so special about this, Wesker guy?" Alexandrei said as he shoved his hands in his lab coat pockets. William just smirked. "As if you would like to know. Wouldn't you?" Alexandrei just glanced away in silence before hm escaped his lips. "Maybe. Just maybe I'll let you in on it. But I have my doubts about you, Alex. I wouldn't trust my life's work with others I rarely know. Such as you of course." Alex raised an eyebrow. "But I work here. Shouldn't I at least you know, KNOW about it."
Suddenly the conversation rapidly ended before Albert stood in the hallway. "Are you two having this discussion again?" Alex crossed his arms. "Yeah, I mean. We all know each other and I thought we were close. I figured that maybe I'd get to be a part of this." Suddenly Wesker turned towards Alex. "No." William just stood next to Wesker and watched the conversation unfold.
"I would say let's just show him. Show him what he desperately so desires to be part of." He then glanced at Wesker who looked towards Alexandrei and shook his head. "I don't think that's a great idea. It isn't stable enough yet." William just looked towards Wesker. "Yeah, you're right about that. Time is of the essence I suppose." He then turned towards Alex. "That's a no. Not yet." He turned and walked back towards the lab as Wesker glanced at Alex and just shook his head before turning and walking away. Alex just sighed. "Just what are you two hiding?" He said. He knew that there was a third but he was determined to find out.
RE FANFIC DRABBLE: THEY MADE IT?
"Oh, shit, oh shit." He ran across the facility once he heard sirens start to blare throughout the facility and quickly ran to the laboratory and froze to see William almost shot to death onto the floor and Alex froze for a moment and glanced around seeing the chaos unfold. He glanced at William and lightly kicked him.
"Get up. Get up. I know you aren't dead." He said before grabbing his body and throwing him over his shoulder. "Let's do our best to get the hell out of here." He said as he looked for an escape route as he watched parts of the facility catch fire and other scientists scrambled.
"Alright William, Let's find Albert and get the fuck out of here." He said as suddenly he passed one of the rooms and a sudden chemical caused a loud explosion which knocked Alex back causing him to drop William in front of him. "For fucks sake. This can't really be the end for us. Can it?" He said before suddenly he was grabbed onto along with William by Albert who had seen them and noticed that they were the only ones he saw that were still alive. He didn't save them for the greater good he saved them for his own personal reasons. "Where the hell have you been?" Alex said as William was still unconscious and bleeding out. Wesker was silent as he kicked down doors that didn't require a key card and if they did he would use his.
Once outside Alex looked towards Wesker and then William. "We made it. Jeez, never expected you to save the day. What happened there? Why did everything go to shit? Tell me." He then shook his head as Albert just glanced away in silence before Alex walked over to William and checked his breathing and vitals. "He's alive but barely."

He pulled out a small sample of the T-Virus he stole from the lab and held it out showing him. "This. This is what we were working on." Alex placed down the tool he was using on William and reached out for it before Albert pulled it away and shoved it back in his pocket.
"He is not to know that I have it. As far as he is concerned it was destroyed. Is that understood?" He said as he shot a glare at Alex. "Yes, crystal." He said before sighing and picking up some gauze to wrap around William's wounds after he finished sterilizing them. He let out a low sigh once more. "He should be alright." He said.
Not that long later William woke up in a sudden panic before he quickly tried standing up but couldn't. Alex looked over. "Oh you're awake." He said. "Listen, I don't care about that where's my life's work? The lab? The facility!?" Wesker looked towards him. "Destroyed."
Mini Drabble Wesker & Chris
Chris was prepared and he had back up which was what he thought he would potentially need. He had his weapon drawn before glancing at Piers and speaking. "You ready, Nivans?" He said before checking his gun and making sure he had ammo and Piers checked his weapon as well as he spoke. "Ready then I'll ever be captain." He said before he started loading his weapon with ammo. They stood there waiting for the elevator doors to open and once they did they both stepped out to see Albert Wesker within the middle of the room waiting for them.
Wesker smirked as he glanced at Chris and then Piers and then back to Chris. "Ah, Chris Redfield." He said before glancing at Piers and pondering what he should do with them both. "So the rumors are true. You lived..But how?" Chris asked as Wesker started to walk towards him and Piers before waving his hand as a tentacle formed and knocked Piers back onto the ground. Chris immediately shot at Wesker which caused the tentacle to retreat. He looked towards his hand and smirked. "So you are still seeking to destroy me aren't you?" He asked.
"Well, if that's what you desire but I will destroy you first and your sidekick or whoever this is." He then summoned two tentacles and then lunged one at Piers and then Chris. Piers was pinned to the ground as Chris was knocked off the platform and he managed to grip tightly onto the edge to prevent completely falling off. Wesker stepped closer and put his foot on one of his hands. "Beg. Beg for your life, Chris." He said as he pressed his foot down harder before Piers managed to knife his way out of the tentacles and began to aim and fire his rifle at Wesker. Suddenly Wesker just turned around to glare at Piers and started to step towards him. Piers was distracting Wesker so Chris can get back up on the platform.
Chris managed to climb back up on the platform and then pull his weapon off of his back and aimed it at Wesker. "Let's finish this." Piers dodged rolled towards Chris and then stood back up as Wesker began to mutate.
