reading | picked up pip william's dictionary of lost words again but i fear i may have to reread from the beginning because i'm forgetting a whole lot of context from where i stopped...

last google search | "tsunokakushi" which is a japanese bridal headdress. it symbolises a woman suppressing her metaphorical "horns of jealousy" for a smooth transition to married life. yeah. what the hell. my mom was explaining this to us in the afternoon because it was one of two (?) variants of headdresses she wore for her wedding. but still. what the hell.
