Back to basics. I needed a set of simple earrings, so here they are.

3.5, 7 and 8 cm

6.5 cm (diameter) x 0.15 cm

The base of the sphere is perforated. The pendant is hanging on three finesilver double-8 pinched loop chain links.

Experimenting with combinations of silver platework and silver chainmail.

c. 11 cm x 12 cm x 0.5 cm

All circles are in golden ratio proportions to each other.

Lunula amulets were worn to ward off evil. This piece is based on a Thracian example from the 4th or 3rd century BCE. It is entirely made out of sterling silver and with slightly thinner wire than the copper/alpaca one I made earlier.

Smaller remake of a pendant I already made in copper, inspired by a Viking object that was found in Denmark, consisting of a spiral circle flanked by two rings of twisted wire. The suspension resembles fibula windings.

Test for a copper spider, loosely based on the golden Pre-Columbian spider from Lambayeque (Peru).

Remake in silver of a design I made a couple of years ago.

Chatelaine jewel inspired by the Mexican Día de Muertos, with chains ending in amulets referring to vanitas and time (a spiral, an hourglass, arms of a clock and the moon phases). Presented on the corset by Stammer Studio.

The ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor was often represented wearing a sun disk with cow horns as a headdress. She was the goddess of joy, beauty, love and music, patron goddess of miners and metalworkers.
