i perpetually find myself wanting to give presents but not having any wrapping paper. so! wrapping this bookstore find with a cut-up bag from the mount washington gift shop.

Working on an essay in my favourite coffee shop, class was cancelled for me today so I have a lot of time! I’m excited for halloween tomorrow but really don’t want to write this essay 

me and my boyfriend went to gamla uppsala högar together earlier this week! it was so cool to see them in real life, especially since theyre mentioned a lot in our course lit. i also infodumped abt the nordic iron age during the whole visit but thats another story

For my second day I mostly took it pretty easy, i still had a pretty bad headache so I decided to study on my bed. I learned another Italian lesson. I decultered my phone and organized my files on my iPad as well. Practiced my driving, since my drive test is coming pretty soon. I got a 6 month extension on my repayment for my student loan, so that ease so much stress off my shoulder when I received the approval. Towards the end of the night I was feeling pretty low, and I got a random zoom call from an old friend of mine. it felt really therapeutic to talk out my frustrations with her since I usually just bottle it up in my head. Remembering that self care is still a form of productivity. the was the night ended felt really serendipitous and it brought up my mood after we ended the call.
