One thing that becomes really obvious about ghosts the moment you meet one is that they are terrible gossips. Especially when it comes to the living. There's a reason that every ghost and their mother knew about the ghost portal only a couple weeks after it was created.

There are less ghost in Gotham than Amity Park, none powerful enough to stir up trouble. But that doesn't mean they didn't like their fair share of gossip.

What's the best place for ghosts to get the juiciest gossip in town, you ask? Well it's the rooftops of course!

And what's the best way to haunt the rooftops, you may wonder? Possessing the gargoyles obviously!

Danny knows this and knows that if he wants any chance of surviving the Gotham streets he needs as much info as possible.

Most of the family would choose option one, end up having a VERY confusing chat, and leave aware of a new medium in Gotham. Possibly also trying to convince the kid to go into care, but also just giving all the usual help for street kids knowledge they have. Soup kitchens etc.

Damian just after arriving in Gotham, aware that he would probably NOT manage to talk them down, not feeling like wasting the time trying? Would choose option two. If any of them saw Danny lean too far on the gargoyle? Probably also choose option two.

Damian tackles this boy to get him off the ledge. Danny is startled because what sane person is on a roof at night and also goes about attacking him? He was mid sentence with the gargoyle! The second Danny lays an eye on the small traffic light boy with swords, he is delighted. One of the resident liminals was greeting him!

Danny smiles and decides he'll pause the conversation to play with the young liminal. Danny likes making new friends!

Damian, however, is surprised when the teen he just tackled off the roof doesn't so much as question why Damian had done so. He could hear Drake sighing through the comm and felt the piercing gaze of his father's eyes on his back. Saving a suicidal teen was all too easy, in his opinion. Then the boy grinned with far too many teeth and lunged at Damian.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Kryptonite is a mix of VERY addictive candy and ghost catnip.

One day, Danny and a few ghosts were hanging around in Superman's city. Nothing harmful, just goofing off.

Eventually, they get hungry. But not for human food. Not even Danny.

Suddenly a villain attacks.

Superman and several Batfam members show up to fight the villain. Sadly, the villain opened the back door of the truck he showed up in and a metric TON of Kryptonite was inside!

Suddenly, ALL of the ghosts jerk their heads towards the truck like cats who smell catnip.

Nightwing, sensing their odd looks and having a hunch (the heroes know about the ghosts. They and JLD helped stop the Guys in White. Ghosts now have rights and are treated like people.), tells them, "Go for it. 🤷🏻‍♀️"

The ghosts leap into the truck with happy, yelping, chirps, ignoring the protests of the villain.

They, like Dick thought/was hoping for, starts CHOWING DOWN on the rocks like they are rock candy.
