Fact #234
When writing a book normally, you cannot add more than fifty pages. However, it is possible to have more pages by using commands or inventory editors.
Fact #233
Steve? is stronger than he looks.
Fact #232
Carrots and baked potatoes were made less effective in Minecraft 1.8.
Fact #231
In Minecraft 1.9, the Riding tag was replaced with the Passengers tag, which reverses the order, and allows multiple entities to ride a single entity.
1.8: /summon Creeper ~ ~ ~ {Riding:{id:Zombie}} 1.9: /summon Zombie ~ ~ ~ {Passengers:[{id:Creeper}]}

Fact #230
Using type= with @r allows you to target random entities other than players. For example, /tp @r[type=Item] @p will choose a random dropped item and teleport it to the player.
Fact #229
Mushrooms are not edible on their own. However, you can craft them into mushroom stew.
Fact #228
Redstone torches output a signal in every direction, except towards the block they’re attached to.
Fact #227
Poison alone will never kill you, as it only takes you down to half a heart.
Fact #226
A hopper with a detector rail on top will never accept items from a minecart. This is because the minecart triggers the detector rail, which powers the hopper, causing it to block items.

Fact #225
Falling out of the world into the void below bedrock is the only way to die in Creative mode without commands.
Fact #224
While a full Nether portal requires at least fourteen blocks of obsidian, a working one can be made with only ten by leaving out the corners.
Fact #223
Creepers hiss for a set amount of time, regardless of whether they die, explode, or cool down.
Fact #222
Water and lava can be retextured with a resource pack. However, they cannot be remodelled, because their models are dynamically generated based on their surroundings.
Fact #221
The colour codes (§0 to §f) reset other formatting codes (§k to §o), so when using them together, colour codes should always be specified before other formatting codes.

Fact #221
Minecraft accepts formatting codes in text. These can’t be typed manually in chat or text boxes, but can be pasted into books or entered with a mod or editor.
The formatting codes are:
§0 — Black.
§1 — Dark blue.
§2 — Dark green.
§3 — Teal.
§4 — Maroon.
§5 — Purple.
§6 — Brown.
§7 — Light grey.
§8 — Dark grey.
§9 — Light blue.
§a — Lime green.
§b — Aqua.
§c — Light red.
§d — Pink.
§e — Yellow.
§f — White.
§k — Obfuscated.
§l — Bold.
§m — Strikethrough.
§n — Underlined.
§o — Italic.
§r — Reset.
These codes are case-sensitive (§a is different from §A), and codes §0 to §f are the same as the colours used by MS-DOS.

what is the best mod been made.
I can’t answer this objectively, but I’ll give you my opinions.
My favourite vanilla-compatible mod: Rei’s Minimap. It’s very useful, and works on single-player and multi-player.
My favourite vanilla-incompatible mods: IndustrialCraft, though I quite like BuildCraft and RedPower.
My favourite Bukkit plugins: Essentials, WorldEdit, and PowerNBT. They make custom world creation and server administration a lot easier.
