When writing a book normally, you cannot add more than fifty pages. However, it is possible to have more pages by using commands or inventory editors.

Carrots and baked potatoes were made less effective in Minecraft 1.8.

Using type= with @r allows you to target random entities other than players. For example, /tp @r[type=Item] @p will choose a random dropped item and teleport it to the player.

Creepers hiss for a set amount of time, regardless of whether they die, explode, or cool down.

Water and lava can be retextured with a resource pack. However, they cannot be remodelled, because their models are dynamically generated based on their surroundings.

The colour codes (§0 to §f) reset other formatting codes (§k to §o), so when using them together, colour codes should always be specified before other formatting codes.
