So dead. Not looking forward to how sore my legs are going to be tomorrow. 2 plates on the leg press at least! Felt pretty ok about that. Back, tris, and legs day.
I wish I had baggier shirts to wear to the gym.
I showed up. Even though I only did 1 of the planned workout and spent the rest of the hour doing cardio (at least partly on the stair master, which I’m happy about), I’m still happy I did something.
Some days my anxiety is pretty bad. I’m getting better and more confident at the gym, but some days still are hard. Hopefully a year from now this will happen a lot less.
I’m so bummed about only losing like 4lbs in the past two months of working with a trainer. Though I am happy I have lost roughly an inch on both my waist and hips.
My weight fluctuates so much and I have noticed I deal with a lot of bloating. Also pretty sure I’m dealing with a hormone imbalance. Sadly don’t have a doctor I can see any time soon to get help with it. Woo.
Time to just trouble shoot on my own with the help of the internet and the few people in my life who have any idea of what they’re talking about.
I’ve gotten to the stage of going to the gym where I can’t stop thinking of wanting to go to the gym, what I should be doing next time, and what I really want to try. I really want to go again, but I can’t go till tomorrow. Having two days where I am unable to go in a row is apparently torture.
At least tomorrow I get to go work with a PT and get my ass kicked. Please no hill sprints.

Another Friday of getting my ass kicked by my PT. 13th session with her already. Crazy how fast time has been going.
155lbs for 12 reps on the leg press. Hoping to go way heavier next week. My body was just not super happy with me today. Struggled with 115lbs on single leg.
Finally did step ups on the tall box thing. I hate heights. Still hate that. At least I finally did them. Win?
Excited to see some progress at least in strength. Hoping to see some physical changes soon. Wooould be niiiice.
Sore from a intense weekend/start to the week.
Still came in for my Wednesday workout. Legs were still not happy with me, so did an upper body day.
Stuck to the womens only area for some privacy since it was empty. Best part about working out at 11am.
I feel like I did a solid job structuring my workouts since it’s now Thursday and getting that delayed muscle pain. Went in to the main weight area and used the assisted pull up machine without being too scared. So that’s a win.
Looking forward to having my ass kicked again by my trainer tomorrow. <3

11th out of the 12 sessions I booked. One of the best decisions I’ve made. Looking forward to continuing with this and seeing how far I can go. Especially with such a supportive person pushing me and helping me navigate how confusing the gym is.

Ube bun from Presidence’s Choice. 200 cals per bun, which is kind of high, but it’s really good. Slightly sweet, so we used it to make some breakfast sandwiches.
Ube bun, 1/2 slice of daiya cheese, 1 egg, gardein spicy breakfast patty, with a light bit of kewpie mayo and okonomiyaki sauce.
Nice breakfast before I go get my ass kicked at the gym.
Slowly getting use to going to the gym on my own. Still prefer going on days where I’m working with a trainer.
Excited that I’m at least not just sticking to the few things I’m use to. Slowly building that confidence. Hopefully next week I’ll be able to do even more. As long as my body isn’t trying to kill me like it was today. Thanks uterus.
